It’s entirely possible that Gen is busy and so Senku is the one behind the counter. He’s fussing with something and he glances up when someone comes in.

“Welcome to Creamistry.” He murmurs a little bit. He washes his hands and towels them off.

He’s in the middle of making little animals out of sugar.

Senku comes to the counter. “What can I get for you?”

Challenge

Perhaps instead they’re interested in answering the ad that Senku put up on the board.

He gets a devious grin. “You want to help me figure out my challenge? By all means.”

Senku has a knack for looking downright evil.

“You have a preference for flavour, or do you want me to decide?”

Flowey believes himself an ace at many different tasks. Programming, mechanics, puzzles, and so much more. So when he heard of this challenge, he definitely couldn't abate his curiosity.

"Your choice, buddy. Little old me is ready for anything you give me!"

There is a determined glint in Flowey's eyes.

"Excellent, let's test your limits. Please grab a seat and make yourself comfortable."

Senku might look downright sinister, but really, it's just ice cream!

Flowey unroots himself from the ground and uses his roots to climb up the chair, managine to get on top and get comfortable. He cares not for how sinister Senku looks. He can probably look a million times more sinister.

But enough of that. There is ice cream to be had. Flowey awaits what is given to him!

Maedhros had said he'd stop by the ice cream shop, he didn't feel entirely at ease within the city but he was tempted enough by the prospect of a treat he hadn't had in centuries.

"A fine day to you, my friend," he greets Senku as he walks in. "I hope you don't mind me stopping by for a moment? I thought I would take the time to try one of your ice creams today."

"I don't mind, that's what I'm open for." Senku smiles and moves over to the counter to point out the display case where several flavours were dished up.

They were in pans like gelato, as opposed to tubs, because he made it all himself.

"What kind interests you? I can give you little sample tastes if you're not sure."

"I'd like to try the apple pie flavored ice cream," he says after looking at what was available. "It all looks terribly good though, so I might end up comming back to try some more flavors later."

But for now he wanted to see how close to his favorite childhood desert this particular ice cream was.

Zhongli may be a retired god, but when you've been following the same traditions for over 2000 years, old habits may die hard. As such, when he hears about a new business opening, he can't help but pay it a visit; after all, a business being visited by the God of Commerce was usually a fortuitous affair, according to the people of Liyue. And in any case, Zhongli is curious as to what kind of shop was here.

He's busy mostly admiring the place; the decor, the menu, the items on display. He was actually watching the young man at the counter make the little sugar animals when he was spoken to, and he offers a polite smile.

"Ah, I was simply admiring your craftsmanship. Using sugar to create small animals is not an easy feat. You are quite talented, young man." He may look middle-aged, but he speaks like an old man.

"Thank you. I had to practice quite a bit to be able to make things like this...although I learned more on clay than sugar. I can also make figures out of wood."

Senku had far too many skills. "Interested in anything?"

He's all too amused at being called young man.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY, holidays and business but I am here now!

"Is that so? Well, I would say all that hard work has certainly paid off. To be able to do such art on something so delicate is nothing short of a work of mastery."

Honestly, Zhongli isn't sure he's seen something like this in Liyue. At least not on this scale before. It's fascinating.

"Hmm... admittedly, this is my first time in such an establishment, so I find myself at a loss as to what to order. What would you recommend, boss?"

Anya has been visiting the Creamistry for a while now so she is quite very familiar with the place. When she learns about the ice cream challenge, she thought that she could try it out. She does have a bit of a sweet tooth even as an adult.

Greeted by Senku’s cheeky smirk upon her arrival, she has her game face on, ready for whatever flavor he must have made for the month and trying out new stuff at the same time instead of going for the flavors she would have normally picked at this time. This should be a lot of fun.

“Well now. I suggest randomize the flavors, my good sir. I would like to try out whatever ice cream flavors you have created this month.”

"I can do that. I've been cooking up something great for a challenge." Since, of course, someone had asked him to make one.

"Grab a seat and I'll serve it up for you. Won't take more than a couple of minutes."

“Oh yes. This is really good. I shall find the first empty seat I can find and wait for whatever ice cream is waiting to be tried out.”

Anya soon grabs a seat in the center and gets herself comfortable as she waits for Senku to bring out the ice cream so she can get into the challenge. She is pretty excited to see what he and Gen have come up with. Also she is quite relieved that she didn’t brought Pooka and Mashka today: she isn’t sure if dogs and rabbit can have ice cream.

"You can choose, if you don't mind! I'll totally try whatever you've got!"

Pauline takes a seat, almost bouncing with excitement. Despite the expression on Senku's face, she doesn't even clock that something might be up. She's far too hyped about the idea of trying a whole new type of ice cream to even think of much else at the moment.

"Excellent choice, it's only going to be a few minutes." True to his word, it is.

The ice cream concoctions are served on a tray with comfortable handles. It looks like a basket, although in reality, it's double walled and there's dry ice in between so that they don't melt. No cheating, of course.

The first offering is in a glass, and is a cream soda float. The second is cut up brownies layered with mint chocolate chip ice cream and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The third bowl has a scoop of cinnamon bun ice cream. The fourth cookie dough, topped with sprinkles. The fifth bowl has two scoops of strawberry, topped with strawberries and whipped cream.

This is, after all, a food challenge. There is a set of smaller cups, five of them that hold just sample sizes, and each one has one of this month's flavours. One chili pepper and cinnamon swirl. The second, apple pie, the third sweet curry, the fourth sea salt and the fifth coffee caramel twist.

Finally when he brings out the tray, he sets it down and then brings her a ginger beer and a Tutti Frutti soda.

"Hope you're hungry."

"Wow, this looks great! Even if I wasn't hungry, I've always got extra room for sweets, anyway!"

She starts to reach for the float but stops. She supposes she shouldn't fill up on sodas or floats too early when she's eating so much. After another moment of thought, she goes for the third bowl; something without too many frills seems like a good way to start. She starts to eat and the air around her begins to glitter faintly.

"Oooh, it's sooo good~!"

[well, he's not going to turn down soda and junk food. he approaches the new store, and glances at Senku when he speaks.]

You got anything blue?

Well, in terms of ice cream I have this sea salt flavour. I'm not sure if it's right, I've been told to look out for a guy who would really want it, but I haven't met him yet.

[ He hums a little bit. ]

And in soda I don't, but I can whip something up if you want to wait a few minutes.

"I think I'll go with..." She pretends to think about it before slapping a hand on the table, "dealer's choice, obviously!

The fifth bowl has a scoop of apple pie ice cream with two candied apple slices placed decoratively on top of whipped cream.

Ice cream... what's ice cream? It smells faintly sweet in here, sugary, so she's already here and primed with a hungry stomach - but the wolf has paused in front of the sign and is tilting her head as she read everything.

That IS what she was doing, right? This strange white wolf, with red markings and a massive blue sword on her back... it was hard to tell if she had anything going on in that empty-looking head with that slack-jawed expression.

If Senku thought when he got up this morning he would be looking at a wolf in his ice cream shop...well he didn't think of that. That seemed highly unlikely.

She wasn't causing any damage, or doing anything strange, she was just. Looking. At the sign.

"Huh..." Senku said, coming around the counter. "I don't suppose you want ice cream do you?"

[ Someone might’ve suggested that Ienzo not bury himself in research and actually get out some. Shocking. ]

[ But, a store that might sell some of his childhood favorite treats - and it uses a science pun? He’s going to walk right on in and peer up at the menu. ]

Ah, yes, um. One moment.

[ Very quietly, to himself; ] No sea salt?

[ Senku's just crafting sugar animals, as part of his prize idea for his challenge, and he happens to hear that. ]

I do have sea salt. Well some approximation of it, it was an attempt. It's the blue one in the case.
