That's cheating!
[There is nowhere that snow could have come from!]
No magic!

[He doesn't look apologetic at all.
Nor does the snowball he had created and flings at her.]
no subject
Interesting. It's not like you to have your hand slip so much.
[But then she's climbing off the snowbank and walking (more like waddling on her skates) away from the ice and towards the tree without looking back at him, as if she doesn't even remember that he's there.]
no subject
[And he'll just remain on the ice, idly skating.]
Giving up?
[He doubts it.]
no subject
[Still waddling away from him, and she does trip in the snow a bit, leaning forward with her hands to catch herself with a small sound before she continues. She might have grabbed a bit more of it to add to the snowball too, and tries to be sneaky about it, even if she may know better than to think he wouldn't catch her in the act.]
I said I was cold.

no subject
[A pointed glance at him over her shoulder, but she's not stopping. She's just moving very slowly to the house, wondering how long it'll take for him to actually follow.]
no subject
Hmm, that's true. But I also thought you were going to prove you had such impressive aim.
[Now tossing up a snowball into the air, catching it in his hand.]
no subject
[She gives her own snowball a toss, and it's definitely much bigger than it was the last time he saw it. And as she arrives at the door to the house, she finally stops and twirls around to face him.]
That was just a warning. Unlike someone, I don't plan to toss snow at you for no reason.
no subject
[He is being very difficult, though he seems to be enjoying being said difficult. It's certainly not something he does often.]
no subject
And what's that? Because you're not coming with me?
no subject
[Really he should just go in, and he does start skating.....
Sideways.]
And to try and prove me wrong.
no subject
...
But Tifa is going to start sliding her heels back on after she's set the snowball down and shed her skates. Only when she's completely changed out does she approach the ice, lifting her hands to show that she's unarmed.]
What exactly do you want to be proven wrong about? [She tilts her head innocently and bounces on her feet, folding her hands behind her back.] You want me to say you were right? That I was too impatient and shouldn't have been asking about your surprises?
[She doesn't even know what they were "arguing" about anymore.]
no subject
No, not at all.
[A low hum.]
All right, if you can hit me once, I'll head in.
no subject
[But she's leaning down to scoop up some snow anyway to ball it up, eyes still following him as he moves sideways across the ice.
And because I can't roll a d20 any higher than 11 for some reason,Tifa doesn't wait to make the throw, but she'll completely whiff it. Whether she did it on purpose or not, who is to say.]You're really keen on staying outside, aren't you?
[As she goes for another bundle of snow.]
Don't wanna know what I've got in store for you?
no subject
Hmm.... Is there really anything left to surprise with me?
[A light smirk and gleam in his eye.]
no subject
I think there's plenty left... You just have to come closer to see.
[As if to make a point, Tifa adjusts the front of her dress, purposefully making it so that the chest of it is pulled down just the tiniest bit to tease, and as she leans forward, he'll catch a glimpse of the red and black lace underneath as it drapes open.
Only for a second, before she's standing up with another snowball forming between her cold, red hands.
She gives it a toss, and then another, before she's throwing it at him with more strength this time... and slightly better aim, intending to hit him right in the stomach with it.]
no subject
So there's just the lightest smirk before he just deftly jerks to the side, avoiding the snowball while keeping his eyes on her.]
Seeing is one thing... But is that all?
no subject
But she's still bending down and grabbing another handful of snow anyway.]
What do you mean? [With an innocent look, she stares down at her hands, and man... are they cold.] Can't do much else from all the way over there, can you?
no subject
Then you just have to bring me over there.
no subject
In these things!? You just wanna see me fall flat on my face so you could say that you won.
[Won what!? She has no idea.
And though Tifa might not be able to hear it just yet, thinking that it's just her own small movements, there is the sound of snow crunching from the trees behind Eustace.]
no subject
Okay, not that far—!?
[He hears that sound a step too late before a pile of snow suddenly slams into him from behind, vaulting him forward to fall unceremoniously into the snowbank before another drops on him.
Behind him all, the snowwoman from before stands with her stick arms bent akimbo and seems to glare at Eustace. Farther back, the snowman just looks away as if pretending not to see anything...]
no subject
Did you—!?
[Just dump a bunch of snow on himself???
No. Wait.
Her eyes move past the rink to the other side, and she sees a familiar face. Or rather, two. And the snowwoman from earlier is glaring at him.]
Where did you guys come from?
[She should maybe help her husband out of the pile of snow!? But she's still in too much shock and processing everything first... ... ... as they both slide onto the ice to start "skating" together (really, it's more like sliding) as if none of that had just happened.
What in the world... is...]
Eustace. Are you okay?
[Crawling over to him, she starts melting away the snow.]
no subject
What the hell happened?
no subject
[Tifa glances to the rink, seeing how they have both stopped moving to stare, only for them to continue the moment she turns her eyes to them. But she swears that the snowwoman might have winked at her. That, or the cold is getting to her head.
Leaning in, hands pressing to the pile closest to his head, she lowers her voice.]
Remember those snowmen from earlier?
