Having spent time with Zuko again, it was time to get back to his plans. So he was in town trying to see if there were any available storefronts that he could trade for, to finally get his new tea shop established.

Of course, as usual, he was carrying a large covered basket that included the fixings for a tea and snack, should he find someone he wished to stop and chat with. Which happened often for him, for some reason...

Gabriel was just exiting another shop after putting up an ad for his tailoring services in the window when he spotted the older man across the street. Though he couldn't be sure- given the transformations they'd both been under at the time- the man looked somewhat familiar... Opting to take a chance, he crossed the street to intercept him. "Iroh...?", he greeted him somewhat uncertainly.

He looked up to see who had called him. "Yes?" Hmmm, that man looked oddly familiar... Something about him, but he couldn't quite place it yet.

"I thought it was you," Gabriel said with a smile as his guess proved accurate. "We met in the candy world, though we both looked rather different at the time. There, I was calling myself Sucrè, but now that we're back to normal..." He offered a handshake. "Gabriel Agreste. Pleased to meet you... again." His smile turned a bit wry at the last word.

"Ah," he said with a smile. Shaking his hand. "A pleasure once more. It is still just Iroh for the time being however."

Gabriel nodded. "What brings you into town today?", he asked. "I was just hanging up a few more advertisements myself; now that I'm settled in I felt it was time I started contributing to the community, so I'm offering tailoring services."

[uncle_iroh]

"I too am looking into contributing more, and specifically setting things up so that my boy has the chance to work on his sense of responsibility. So I am looking into how to set up my tea shop here."

"Well if what I had in the candy world is any indication you certainly do have a talent for tea making," he said. "Perhaps once I'm a bit more established I could contribute some cloth goods? In my own world, I'm a fashion designer, so creating or tailoring uniforms wouldn't be especially difficult once I have proper supplies and equipment. And things like tablecloths or cloth napkins would be even simpler."

"Thank you very much. For both the compliment and for the offer. Someone else has already offered to work on uniforms, but I had not thought about tablecloths or cloth napkins. I thank you."

He nodded. "I'll let you know once I'm sufficiently set up to produce them then and we can go over the details," he said. "Speaking of which, I don't suppose you might know where someone could get a sewing machine here in Reverin?"

"How goes it, friend?" Maedhros calls out as he sees Iroh across the streets as he goes about running some of his own errands in town. "You look to be deep in thought, so I hope there is nothing causing you trouble?"

[uncle_iroh]

He chuckled. "Nothing at all. I simply have been reminded of my own goals. It is long past time I saw about setting up a tea shop here." It would do Zuko good to have the responsibility of a job again.

"Any luck so far?" He asks with genuine curiosity. How to go about setting up a buisness in this place is something of a mystery to him.

"I have had several very pleasant conversations."

"Which is always a productive and pleasant way to spend the day," he agrees. One could learn so many things just by talking to people, after all.

He nodded, agreeing. Of course then he didn't make much progress. But it was worth it.

"And any luck in finding a suitable locale for your buisness? Or even how to go about procuring one?"

[uncle_iroh]

"Not as of such. But I am certain I will in due time."

It just so happens that Isabela is in the middle of running errands related to Madrigal Blooms: often darting between checking on the gardening supplies, meeting potential clients, finding what could be in season at the moment, along with finding a way to share the flora and each other of the dreamwalkers’ worlds and the local flora as well. This nee community garden plan (not to be confused with the one for harvest) been on her mind for a while now but so far she hasn’t found any luck in making it a reality though.

Right around the time as she brainstorms on the design ideas for the community social gardens, she happens to be crossing paths with Iroh who is walking around town, carrying a basket of tea supplies and snacks. Seems like he might be going on a picnic or something. So she happily waves back at him, hoping to get some info on the tea basket.

“Oh hi there, Sir! It seems like you’re being very busy right with this basket right now. I don’t mean to pry on you right now.”

"You are no bother at all. A young lady as lovely as yourself could never be a bother. Is there something I could help you with today?"

[senorita_perfecta]

“Well I was in the middle of thinking of creating a medium sized garden in the town square that would showcase the flora of various worlds of the dreamwalkers and the local flora here. Maybe adding the element of incorporating seasonal availability so the plants could be rotated along with the seasons. I was wondering if you might have suggestions on what I can add in the gardens.”

"Well, what about something like camellia sinensis planted between the flowers so that there is some consistency among the change?"

[senorita_perfecta]

“Oh wow! That sounds really terrific. I never thought about planting tea leaves in gardens before but this might be a great idea. A variety of tea leaves would make for great visual appeal and they sure have great uses as well.”

[uncle_iroh]

Iron nodded. "Exactly. You can have gardens that are a delight to all the senses."

[senorita_perfecta]

“Now that is a clever top tier thinking. Making the most of the senses in a garden is a brilliant idea that would surely impress so many people. I do hope to include a lot of tea varieties to the gardens in a way that can make them shine like the other plants too.”

"A number of them have lovely flowers and lovelier fragrances," he added with a smile.
