[he wasn't really expecting anything for Valentine's Day, but instead of just getting something from Sora, he'd gotten something from Vanitas too.
even though it was something really fucking stupid too, but Riku thinks he can play at that game.
he'd gotten Sora a small basket of his favorite sweets, and Vanitas a bag of what looked to be coal. the "coal" was actually a wrapped up combination of dark and milk chocolates, and he totally realizes he should've done this for Christmas.
but he's doing it now.
he doesn't leave them a card or anything, because he doesn't know what to say. or even if he wants to say anything at all. if those two thought someone else gave them these things... it's fine. he's not going to complain about it.
it was evening, so he was pretty hopeful that Sora and Vanitas were out or something, so he wouldn't be noticed. so he's going to try to slip away when he makes his delivery...]

The truth is... Sora now wonders just how much Riku might like spending time with the both of them. They haven't really spent a lot of time together like this- all three of them. But honestly... If Riku does like Sora or Vanitas he thinks it might just be nice if they could spend time together?

[ Even though there is definitely more to it. Sora and Vanitas have talked about this in length, of course. Somehow there hadn't been any hurt feelings - not really. Sora had been a little more than excited that he and Vanitas had a shared experience, of sorts. This might not have been what anyone had in mind when Sora wanted them all to get along.
