What: fighting helping tree ents; making swords for gifts; ice fishing; gumdrops. Note: all his sweaters will be sword themed and a lot of red and orange.

» OPTION A - CHRISTMAS TREE ENTS «

[Walking, giant trees...is something he's seen and fought before so even though they are clearly peaceful, the idea of maybe trying to get into a fight with one comes to mind.... But he's going to be on good behavior and help with the decorating instead. Plucking off one of the strange egg shaped ornaments, he can't help but turn it in his hand curiously.]

So... We sure nothing is going to come out of these things? What would happen if I tried to boil it? Or maybe cut it...

[The tree ent overhears this and starts shaking its branches in displeasure, and the egg also starts making a weird sound that's something like alarm, so he quickly tries to retract.]

I'm not, I'm not, don't worry.

[...Said with a gaze that he's still thinking about it.

Anyway, after hanging one he takes some of that holly leaf garland and looks at whoever's house he happens to be at.]

So where should I hang this? I can climb up to the very top of the tree if you want it.

» OPTION B: GIFTING SWORDS «

[Not real ones.

Rokurou can be found sitting on the ground with a pile of small wooden swords scattered about him. They all have different shape and design, and while he can't create the swords from scratch, he's at least developed his dreamotion ability enough that when he holds a plain wooden sword, he can channel an idea and emotion to produce something actually tasteful. From simple symbols down the blade to adding a bit of color to the hilt. Since these are essentially "toy" swords he's not going too far out, but it would make any young swordsman like it better than a plain one.

Holding one up and pleased by the simple yet elegant black lines curving around the hilt, he voices his thoughts allowed.]

Heh, any kid will like this. But I wonder if I should try altering the shape next... These are all simple wooden practice swords, but what if I tried to make them different like curved blades or different knives and daggers? That would make me one step closer in creating my own swords, right?

[Or so he hopes and he just hums as he continues.

By the way, the number of swords around him are likely nearing a hundred someone please stop him.]

» OPTION C: ICE FISHING «

[Fishing is another one of Rokurou's pasttimes and he is quick to set out to try his luck at the lake. After finding a spot and cutting through the ice, he sets his pole in place and sits, a cup of sake in hand.

However, instead of a nice relaxing day of fishing, he has to drop everything and hop up when the line suddenly reels out and the pole threatens to break as it bends towards the water]

Whoa—!

[Good thing he set up a brace as he drops to his knees and tries to pull the pole back while reeling the line in. Even so, he just grins.]

Heh, don't think I'll let you get away!

[Oh he's definitely fired up!!! ...Which may not actually be a good thing as he's on ice and usually his high spirited emotions tend to raise up the temperature. Even now, steam is starting to rise up from the ice's surface.]

» OPTION D: GUMDROPS «

[It can happen anywhere. In town, out in the fields, at the lake when he's fishing—wherever it is the gumdrop will strike and now Rokurou and his unfortunate partner must find a way out of it.

Fluff and Mistlefoe are preferred, though will do shippy ones with those who ask!]

» OPTION E: WILDCARD «

[This guy can do a lot of things so open to other quests on the Dream Board! Find (and fight) some noctaere for the Anti-Noctaere Research, help cut out some giant slabs of gingerbread for the Gingerbread House, help out the Coal Mining. Feel free to hit me via PM, discord, or laenavesse!]

It's a tough one, if I pull too hard the line will snap!

[But he's also doing his best to try and wear it out and pull as much as he can when he can. And he definitely won't let go of the rod!!

...But that is definitely a lot of ice and it thickens the ice so much it actually makes the piece Rokurou is on rise up a bit like a platform.]

Just keep holding on! Don't let that fish get away!

[This better be worth it! Sora's straining his energy because he's not that great at this stuff yet! But it seems his thoughts on fish and lunch might make the ice start to shape into a weird fish-shaped ice platform-- but hey! whatever works!]

[This is definitely weird!!! But it'll work somehow!! Although with Rokurou's emotions also being a bit turbulent right now, the waters become choppy, rocking the ice fish platform back and forth and Rokurou has to fight for his footing. Eventually he falls back—BUT HE STILL HAS THE ROD.]

Almost... Aaaahh, to hell with it!!

[With a loud yell filled with the full fighting spirit of a daemon warrior, Rokurou hauls back on the line and with a large splash, his quarry finally appears!!!




But it's not a fish.




It's a large squid, one that's glowing an odd red as some of its tentacles flail about.]

What the—!!

[WELL. A catch is a catch?? If he can land it that is. As if still trying to win this war, the squid suddenly spreads its body out, some webbing appearing between the tentacles as the main body balloons, turning it into something like a kite.]

You've got to be kidding me!!!!!

[At first he really thinks that the guy is going to let the line go! When he falls back Sora almost gets ready to leap forward and somehow help him out! Pull him off the ice or something! Things are getting too crazy and dangerous here!!]

Hey! Hey-

[Whoosh!! That's... THAT'S NOT A FISH!!]

That's not a fish!! You can't eat something that huge?!

[Or can you--

But the squid monster seems pretty pissed off that it got disturbed with long tentacles thrashing around! Is it trying to fly?! Now Sora is rushing out onto the ice no matter if it cracks or not! He runs to the man and grabs his shoulder.]

We gotta get back!! Or we're gonna be the ones getting eaten for lunch!!

Hah, I've eaten bigger monsters than this!

[Is this really the time to brag whatever. Sora may have a point...it's pretty upset. However, Rokurou is still trying to find a way to bag this thing and gets an idea.]

But all right, let's start running back. It'll be easier to kill this once its own the ground!

[Yes, Sora. You heard him right.

Rokurou still has a firm grip on that fishing pole and he's going to pull the giant squid behind like a freaking balloon as he tries to make his way back over the ice. Really he doesn't even have to get the squid all the way over, just enough so that if it crashes, it'll land on the ice.]

Whoa- Really?!

[Is this really the time to think something is freaking cool?? Yes- Always. Sora can't believe this guy has eaten stuff bigger than this. It only makes Sora fire up because maybe he wants to eat this thing too?!

He hops back on what appears to be a flash of light at his feet that flings him like he's weightless.]

Alright! Let's take this thing down and fry it up for lunch!

[Yes, because he wants this giant lunch too! A keyblade will appear in Sora's hand and a spark of lightning magic at the tip. He'll aim at the creature just as it hovers over the ice! An explosion will blast out of the weapon like a canon zapping it hard.]

[—Another keyblade wielder?? How many of you are there— But seeing that, Rokurou knows this'll be a good fight so he just grins as he keeps a hold on the pole, letting Sora do his thing.

And it's a good hit! Unable to do much, the squid can only take the sudden lightning spell, having not foreseen that these puny landlubbers could pull off such a feat! Already the scent of cooked seafood fills the air as it flounders and starts to sink down, and Rokurou takes advantage of it by yanking hard on the pole as he executes a quick dash forward to cover some distance and hit firm ground—that's covered in snow, but whatever, better than the questionable ice.

The squid will be pulled down closer to the ground, but it won't give up just yet! Damaged it may be, but it once again tries to balloon up, spreading out its tentacles to push itself off from the ground.]

Hit it with another one!

[oathkeeper]

[Goodness... Sora's stomach is going to growl really loudly. Hopefully, Rokurou doesn't hear that.]

Uh, got it!

[Sora lands roughly on his feet without managing to slide across the slippery ice and snow. Bringing up his keyblade and aim for another shot of magic! This time he shoots an explosive of fire magic at the creature in hopes of blowing up its ballooning antics. It goes off in a sharp cloud of fire and smoke which makes the squid thrash around angrily again!]

Alright! Nailed it! Fried squid!

[But be careful! It seems the creature will try and swipe one of those angry tentacle arms right as Sora! He'll attempt to dodge roll out of the way!]

[Don't worry, Sora! Now with the squid on the ground and cooking nicely already, Rokurou can let go of the pole and take out his blades. As soon as Sora rolls out, Rokurou dashes in and slices the tentacle clean off.]

Now to cut it down!

[oathkeeper]

[They're gonna have such a massive lunch. Sora jumps back onto his feet as soon as he can and turns on the squid.]

Yeah! Aha!

[He'll use a sonic blade move, his keyblade glowing with a bright sharp light before he slices the squid harshly. It will trash about uselessly and become the freshest seafood snack ever.]

We got it now!

[Haul it into town for a massive feast.]

Just a few more hits!

[This poor squid had no chance once it was on the ground, and it after a nice Infernal Bloom, a zigzag of burning blades, the squid will be already cooking and no more. RIP squid.

Swinging his long blade to rest of his shoulder, he grins over at Sora.]

Nice work back there.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora lets himself fall back onto the ground. He lets out a loud happy whoop as he looks up at the dreamy sky and grins.

Gosh, they're gonna eat like sea-food-kings.]

We did it! Aha! Wow!

[He sits up with a start and grins back at the man too.]

It wouldn't have worked if it wasn't for you pulling it right out of the water like you did! You're crazy!

[Rokurou just laughs as he watches Sora, and really he can't blame him. He's also feeling a little tired out from all that.]

Haha, well after all that work I wasn't just going to let it go! But I would have been sunk if you hadn't come in so you deserve as much credit.

[Sora laughs and lets out a breath. That was a lot of work so the meal should be worth it. Really worth it.]

I guess we're both a little crazy! You know, this is a ton of food though. We should do something to share it with others too, don't you think?

[What about a giant hot pot-]

Probably not a bad idea. There's definitely more we can take for ourselves. And hey, it's the holiday season, right? Could just throw some kind of party with it.

Yeah! That sounds awesome! Everyone likes a good party with a ton of food, right?! I bet this thing could feed the entire town!

[He's always down to party.]

Add in some alcohol and we'll have a real good time. For the adults, anyway.

[Just a teasing grin before he twirls his blades.]

How about I work on cutting the squid and you tell everyone in town? I'm not much of an organizer so probably better if I just stick with my blades.

Yeah, nope! I've never had anything like that before. But the rest sounds great.

[He grins. And he can definitely tell everyone in town about the feast tonight. Which will probably be handwaved to make things a little easier.]

You get the biggest squid snack ever ready for eating and I'll get the message out! Dinner's gonna be awesome!

[Oh this is definitely being handwaved. Mark the calendar for summer though summer feast should happen.]

[And so the two will prepare for the best feast to ever have. Though one has to wonder if there are any other squids out there in the lake.....
