What: Sora is affected by a Bleeding Heart creature that latches onto his heart. It begins to feed on his loving nature and makes him crave more in order to keep feeding it. Sora becomes love-obsessed! And some extra prompts are inside.
Warnings: Themes of violence, jealousy, obsession and possessiveness.



[a. building a soup cart]

[Who can refuse free soup and helping someone out with building something new? Sora can be found helping with building the newest soup cart for Reverein's greatest upcoming soup seller. He's looking forward to trying out the soup when it's all done. Jiang Yanli has been so kind to him over the network so he's more than happy to help!

Since he's had a few chances at building things with his own two hands now Sora is confident he can do an okay job. He lifts the hammer in his hand and smacks it down on one nail with a satisfying clack. But once he goes for the next nail he misses the nail by just a fraction and knicks his finger!]

Yweoch!

[He yelps and pulls his hand away as quick as he can. As he winces in pain and puts his finger in his mouth to lull the pain away small sparks of annoyed energy seem to crackle around him like tiny firecrackers.]

That smarts... I've gotta get better at this! Who knew using a hammer would be harder than a keyblade sometimes?

[b. communal gardening area & communal fire pit]

[Alternatively, Sora can be found at the communal garden helping to keep everything cleaned up during these down months. It's not exactly warm outside right now but a few things are still growing strong. Sora will hunker down and tend to some plants and notice that small red and heart-shaped flowers might bloom at his fingertips. Must be the time of year?

Or Sora can also be found at the communal fire pit sitting next to the warmth of the roaring fire at the end of an evening. He's got a pack of fresh marshmallows and he's ready to share if someone wants a sweet and toasted treat.]

[c. bleeding hearts: wishing well]

[It's when a particular snap of negative emotion filters through the air that it happens to Sora. One moment he's minding his own business and checking out the wishing well to add a few hopeful dreams to the bottom of it when a sharp feeling pierces his heart. It feels like heat crawling down his throat and it takes a hold of his heart with a squeeze. He gasps and feels his energy suddenly sapped out of him. Weak and breathy Sora tries to inhale as he drops to a knee and grabs onto the edge of the wishing well.]

What's... going on?

[He can feel something sucking away at something deep inside of him. A dark red glow starts to appear around Sora as he tries to breathe. He suddenly feels so empty and like he needs to fill up with ... something.]

Someone... Is anyone there?

[He looks up with a red glow in his eyes. The rush of adrenaline he feels to find someone- anyone- to help make this empty feeling in his chest go away. Fill up his heart... Anyone who might be nearby, if Sora knows them or not, will be looked at like the new light of his life. He'll look at them like they can make him feel full again. And that makes them so, so special.]

[d. bleeding hearts: dream swings]

[Eventually the bleeding heart has taken hold of Sora's heart so fully that he wanders towards the sweet emotions that linger around the dream swings. He wanders through them looking for a way to feed the empty feeling in his chest. To hug someone, to hold someone close, to hear things that make him feel- he'll take anything.]

Hey! There you are! I was looking for you all over the place!

[Is Sora speaking to you? Knowing you or not Sora seems to look at you like he recognizes you. He looks cheerful and friendly as always and yet there is something a little wider to Sora's gaze. Something a little off or strange as he moves towards you.]

I wanted to tell you something.

[G'raha had made plenty of trips to the dream swings while looking into his project and other things around Reverein. Finding him there wasn't too strange. At first he assumed Sora was talking to someone else entirely until he made his way up to G'raha. Looking a little confused, he turned his attention to the boy.]

I'm terribly sorry. Do I know you? [He was all for making new friends of course but...] You have something to tell me? What is it?

[oathkeeper]

[There's always time to make new friends! Or at least Sora would think so if he wasn't feeling so empty inside.

But that's okay, this other person is here and Sora smiles for it.]

I wanted to tell you that I think I've had a dream about you before. You look really familiar.

[???]

[It's not like G'raha has any prior knowledge of Sora to go off of, but even he could tell something was off about him.

Having seen him before wasn't too off the wall. Between some of his dreams and roaming around, it was possible. But he had a dream of him before even meeting?]

Ah, really? What was it about? My name is G'raha Tia.

[oathkeeper]

G'raha. It's so nice to meet you! I'm Sora.

[His smile is so bright for it. His expression perking up like he's just met an idol or something.

And yet- there seems to be a small fading red energy around Sora. Barely noticeable but slowly eating away at him bit by bit.]

I don't know what it is about you but it feels like you're someone special. I know I dreamt about it.

[He had noticed a very faint glow around him, but it wasn't something that G'raha was familiar with... yet. He may need more time to ascertain the cause.]

What leads you to think that?

[oathkeeper]

It must be the look in your eyes.

[Sora smiles and a small blush appears on his cheeks. Almost like he's got a silly little crush or something. Goodness gracious how strange for a stranger! This isn't very natural.]

You look kind. Like you've been through a lot too. Are you lonely?

[crystalized_hope]

[How strange. He couldn't help but look at him confused. That statement was hardly idle chit-chat you had with someone you just met.]

I have been through my fair share of struggles, but I've grown all the stronger for the experiences. Fear not. I'm far from lonely.

[Though he does miss his friends, the people here have been enough from feeling that way. And there was somebody he loved here.]

[Sora seems undeterred by that response! Instead, he seems to fidget for a second. Then he smiles bigger. Although it's not really all that warm of a smile?]

Oh... I was hoping that we could be friends! Sometimes I feel lonely too. Do you wanna be friends with me?

[This must all seem so strange coming from someone like this. It isn't as natural as it should feel, is it??]

[Whatever affect Sora seems to be under, it makes him chuckle lightly.]

I could do with more friends. I don't see why not.

[oathkeeper]

Really? Do you really mean it?

[Sora will suddenly reach out to grab the red head's hand. Like a snap of desperation, almost.]

We can be friends?

[The red energy plaguing Sora seems to flicker and grow dangerously brighter...]

[Quick, but not enough to make G'raha jump. He actually seems to be very calm-headed. At least 100 years of practice, more than likely. That red energy is hard to miss and he was already considering his options. Whatever was going on, it wasn't normal clearly. There was a chance that Sora was not normally this desperate or clingy to be friends even. Whatever the case, he was thinking of some way to help him. Setting his own hand calmly over his with an accompanying nod and smile.]

Of course. It would be my pleasure to become friends. That is... if you don't mind an old man.

[Was that a joke? Probably.]

What? You? An old man? You don't look that much older than me! How old are you?

[There is this little spark of the true Sora in that sentence. A laugh and a boyish grin at such a comment! His voice is easy and simple. But really, what does Sora call old? Probably about twenty-four or older. Leon was an old dude!

But it doesn't last nearly long enough. With a hand on his, Sora seems to get a blush over his cheeks again. He feels hollow and empty at the same time and needy for more of that warm feeling.]

As long as you don't leave... Okay?

[There is a sudden spark of red energy that hurts. It stings him from the inside out and he winces in pain.]

Hn-!

[He let out a light chuckle in response.]

Are we talking physically or mentally?

[Still said like a light tone, but he's serious about the question.]

Of course. I have nowhere else to go at the moment.

[But the mood shifted as Dora's condition changed. He was ready to put his White Mage job stone to use if need be at a moments notice.]

What's wrong? What can I do to help?

[oathkeeper]

I don't- Hn! Ahgh!

[Sora suddenly seizes with pain as the red energy bursts from his chest. The Bleeding Heart creature starts to struggle for a way to find more energy and positive emotions. It grabs hold of Sora's body and makes him jolt in pain. Then he suddenly grabs G'raha by his arms and grips him so hard with curling fingers.]

P-please! Make it... Stop!!
