Killing him is not an option. She must find some other way to incapacitate him. Magic? Beatrix hasn't spent a lot of time practising with the spells she is most accustomed to, but she does have some tricks up her sleeve. Blind. If she can blind him, even for some moments, surely she can use that to her advantage. She has options. The radiance of her sword when she calls upon the light.
