What: Eizen's throwing his own luck into the ring. Approach if you dare!
Warnings: Eizen is a being of absolute bad luck. Anything that can happen will probably happen.

(Money frog Shenanigans?:)

[ While not actively looking for them, Eizen was spending his day fishing at one of the nearby lakes with his handmade pole. Feel free to approach him, but be careful where you walk.

There seemed to be a whole bunch of croaking frogs surrounding him. No matter how many times he tried to swat at them, they only seemed to leave briefly before coming back to croak at his side.]

You know, I bet you guys are scarin' away all the fish.

(Spring Planting:)

[ Ah, now this was something Eizen could do rather easily without causing too much trouble for those around him. He is one of the earth after all! Anyone working on the plots of land better look out though, because Eizen's charging through, plowing the lands with his own powers.

Pwooosh! Smokey dirt blowing up into the air as Eizen runs on by. ]

Careful! Coming at your Stern!

[ Honestly, a man full of bad luck like him wasn't really interested in ways to increase his luck. He's spent hundreds of years trying to change the tides of his own luck to no avail. But seeing everyone getting eager about finding these good luck charms made him a bit curious himself.

Casually searching through the grass he managed to find one. Whether it was golden four leaf or a brown star leaf clover is hard to tell, but anyone passing him will get a gruff: Hey..!]

Hey, Eizen!

[As Eizen is heading out for his day, Rokurou will call out from his treehouse above the pirate's and waves.]

Here, catch.

[And just going to unceremoniously drop a large sack that's filled with a lot of things. Mainly every good luck charm possible.]

Catch??

[ Eizen gives him a raised eyebrow when Rokurou tosses a sack from above. Quickly rushing to catch it, the sack falls into his arms with a loud thump. He stares. For a good long moment with the most confused expression on his face. ]

What the hell is all of this?

[ He's not mad he just wants to know! ]

[With a grin he leans over the railing, watching from above for now.]

Open it and you'll see! Thought we could try and see if any of them will work in this place.

[ Eizen gives him a suspicious looking stare before finally opening up the bag. There just seems to be a whole bunch of good luck charms in here and—

Eizen lets out a startled sound as a toad hops out and plants itself right in Eizen's face. ]

ROKUROU!?

[He's just watching eagerly before he's surprised as well by the frog—before he laughs.]

Oh, haha! Wondered where he went! It's one of those frogs said to be lucky with money.

[ What the hell kind of frog is this. As hard as Eizen tries to pull it off, the more it seems to attach itself to his face. ]

Some luck this is!?

[A great one. A smart one.]

Hey, don't knock it until you try it. Who knows, maybe you'll stumble upon some great fortune with it stuck to you like that. You're a pirate after all, right?

[ The ground around the tree house starts to rumble a little, probably due to this dumb croaking jerk on his face, but it's fine. Don't even worry about it. ]

If you want to give me luck so badly get off my face you warty annoyance!

[Ira has also been working on a field, clearing it of debris and getting it ready for planting. He had been coming back with a handful of seeds and stopped short to avoid being taken out by Eizen.

After a brief coughing fit due to the dust he gives a wave.]

Thank you! This makes things a little easier.

[Because it's going to be slow going with a regular old hoe.]

[ When Eizen skids to a halt when he hears his planting partner speak up. The dust disappears, just leaving Eizen standing there with a bit of a proud grin on his face. ]

Well I am pretty attuned with the earth so—

[That would definitely do it, then.]

A useful talent to have. I admit that my skills in that are lacking.

[He's just got the basic elements instead.]

But this will make planting much easier.

I'm also great at making holes too, but that might not be as useful in this sense.

Not for the kind of planting we need to do, I don't think.

[Though Ira will admit that his gardening skills are lacking.]

[ He lets out a soft laugh, dusting off his jacket. ]

So what do you think is our next step?

I admit that I'm not much of a farmer, but I would assume planting or watering, based on the tools available.

Then lets get started, kid. The sky won't be this bright for too long you know?

[ And with that, Eizen gives Ira a playful little nudge. ]

[Ira is a bit surprised, but shakes it off quickly enough.]

Of course, I had a few seeds over here.

Though, I'm a bit older than a kid.

Eeeh sorry about that. Once you've been around as long as I have, most people seem like children.

[ Eizen just laughs a little and gives Ira another rough pat on the shoulder. ]

May I ask how long that's been?

[He's a bit tentative in asking, knowing it's a bit rude, but his curiosity is piqued. It's been a long time since anyone's treated him like a kid, and he's used to having to hold up an image.]

[ Vanitas is not going to go anywhere near those frogs. He'll hang out right outside of their range.

Scoffing. ]

Looks like you finally have made some friends.

[ Whats the matter, Vanitas? Afraid of a cute lil frog? Eizen tilts his head back to see Vanitas a little ways away. His lips turn up into an amused smile. ]

Some friends they turned out to be. They've been nothing but bad luck since I got here.

[ First of all they aren't cute. Isn't there some sort of plague that involves frogs? Because that's what it kind of looks like at the moment. ]

Bad luck in what sense?

I haven't caught one damned single fish and I've been out here four hours. In fact the fish have made it a point to splash around on the other side, just to prove how much they don't want to bite. Every time I change places, the fish move too and these pain in the asses won't stop following me either.

[ Huff. ]

Feel free to take 'em off my hands if you want. I won't complain.

I don't think that the frogs are the problem.

[ Implying that Eizen might be the issue? Oh he most certainly is. Vanitas sits there, snickering.

Until a frog starts to come to check him out. ]

[ That snickering wont last long when he realizes the frogs around him start to notice his presence as well. In fact a couple start turning around to hop a little closer to him with Eizen none the wiser.]

Gaaaah Laugh it up kid! I'll prove I'll get the biggest damned fish in this lake!

Are we going to be setting a time limit on that? I can't wait around forever you know.

[ Going to nudge one of those frogs with his boot. Go away! ]
