Who: Kazuma Asogi and Anyone!
Which: Open. Brackets prefer, ok with prose.
Where: Whatever prompts take us.
What: Catch-all for October
[A - Communal Garden]
Kazuma never thought he'd have a green thumb until his experience in the Realm of Stories revealed he actually liked taking care of plants. So when he heard about the communal garden, he of course wanted to check it out.
There were some empty patches when he visits, others already in use. He probably should have brought something to plant as well, something to keep in mind for next time. The garden was rather lively with it's magical frogs and fish too. It's honestly a nice setup, even if he finds the singing a bit overdone. There are some overgrowth and weeds that were missed here and there and, without thinking, Kazuma starts to work on removing them.
If he's not doing that, he's tending to what's already been planted or helping others plant things into the soil bed.
[B - The Cluckening]
". . ."
What in hellspawn thought to create giant chickens? Giant by chicken standards at least. Kazuma had found a few wandering around his treehouse this morning, probably to pick at the grubs. There's even a rooster, making it's cock-a-doodle morning call and blocking Kazuma from leaving. Unlike the docile chickens, the rooster proved to be one aggressive beast. He dodges a swipe from it's claws that dig into the bark of the treehouse as he manages to pass through the door.
"Tch. Stupid bird!" This is not how you convince someone to eat chicken. The rooster doesn't seem done with him though, and puffs himself up in a threatening display. Not wanting to have these birds lingering around his home, he draws his blades, stands his ground and they enter a stare down. Who will make the first move?
C-Wildcard [Feel free to make your own starter! Other planned stuff will be in the comment section. You can reach me at

What would he think him if he saw him right now?]
...It wouldn't really be moonshine then, wouldn't it? [His face is hidden from 76. His sandwich remains uneaten at the moment.]

Then again the honey and mash I make helps a little with that. [Learned how to make it good and strong back in the Realm. Just... carried on here.] Need it strong for myself.
no subject
Pardon if this question seems intrusive, but...do you family? A kid, perhaps?
no subject
There was a soft huff, more amused than anything. Intrusive question or not, didn't much mind it apparently.] No, never had the time.
no subject
[He lowers his hand, finally picking up the sandwich. The smell of delicious cooked eggs and bacon reach his nose.] Could have fooled me.

[He fished up a jar or sparkling blue honey, popping the lid off and slowly trickled it out over the toast in some back and fourth movement.] Might've been told that once or twice- job and the people there came first.
Now it's the mission.

Well, whether you wanted to or not....thank you.
no subject
His head tipped.]
Still, you're welcome. Sandwich treating you well?
no subject
It's good. My head's not hurting as much.
no subject
[Catching a bit of honey before it got too into his beard with a thumb, sucking that clean briefly.] You're fine, by the way. [Had to say it.]
no subject
This isn't the strangest remedy I've heard of it. Taste good at least.
no subject
At least 76 wasn't the type to press Kazuma on it, outside of the touch of reassurance. Or the ghost of a smirk in his expression.] Heard of stranger myself, but I always leaned towards the ones that tasted good.

Already setting that plate on the log beside him, fishing around in his bag for what he needed. Cast iron back on the makeshift cooking grate over the fire with a bit of butter to get the melting started.] Of course.
no subject
...Thank you for the food and lending an ear. [Though 76 offered, he still feels like he owes him for using up his time. He didn't even openly talk about all of his problems. Still a work in progress.]
no subject
76 went through the same process, bacon and eggs with a bit of cheese. The toast just made it easier to pick up and eat. What more could someone with a hangover want when it came to food?]
I know what it's like to need either.
