Who: Kazuma Asogi and Anyone!
Which: Open. Brackets prefer, ok with prose.
Where: Whatever prompts take us.
What: Catch-all for October
[A - Communal Garden]
Kazuma never thought he'd have a green thumb until his experience in the Realm of Stories revealed he actually liked taking care of plants. So when he heard about the communal garden, he of course wanted to check it out.
There were some empty patches when he visits, others already in use. He probably should have brought something to plant as well, something to keep in mind for next time. The garden was rather lively with it's magical frogs and fish too. It's honestly a nice setup, even if he finds the singing a bit overdone. There are some overgrowth and weeds that were missed here and there and, without thinking, Kazuma starts to work on removing them.
If he's not doing that, he's tending to what's already been planted or helping others plant things into the soil bed.
[B - The Cluckening]
". . ."
What in hellspawn thought to create giant chickens? Giant by chicken standards at least. Kazuma had found a few wandering around his treehouse this morning, probably to pick at the grubs. There's even a rooster, making it's cock-a-doodle morning call and blocking Kazuma from leaving. Unlike the docile chickens, the rooster proved to be one aggressive beast. He dodges a swipe from it's claws that dig into the bark of the treehouse as he manages to pass through the door.
"Tch. Stupid bird!" This is not how you convince someone to eat chicken. The rooster doesn't seem done with him though, and puffs himself up in a threatening display. Not wanting to have these birds lingering around his home, he draws his blades, stands his ground and they enter a stare down. Who will make the first move?
C-Wildcard [Feel free to make your own starter! Other planned stuff will be in the comment section. You can reach me at

...Well it's more like he knew what he should be doing, he's just reluctant to confide in others about himself.]
76. [He keeps to 76 for now while writing in his journal.] Are you available to have those drinks?
no subject
[Well enough in 76's way of offering to meet up somewhere that Kazuma would prefer, or just as easily meet up in some random part well away from people he knew of himself.
He'd been expecting some contact after all. Once some time to think had been taken, considering how things had gone in that 'dream' of his.]

[He still didn't like spending more time in areas people frequented, but it was close enough.]

Some time will pass before Kazuma arrives at the meeting place. By the tired look in his eyes, he probably hasn't gotten as much sleep as he liked, but he's attentive.]

...
Well this looks like a fun chicken fight.
Not wanting to disturb, he'll just hang off from the side and see which of them moves first. But it looks like the rooster is going to take the charge, letting out a loud squawk before suddenly leaping forward, wings flapping as it prepares to strike with its sharp talons.]
no subject
The cuts weren't deep, but that was still the first blow from Kazuma and they're going to hinder it just a little. While it was disorientated, he comes in to strike at one of it's wings. He's not going to allow it to fly anymore.]
no subject
The rooster is too disoriented to move out of the way, but it will try to beat its wings for a powerful draft in hopes to knock Kazuma off balance.]
no subject
Will it hit it's wing, a vital organ? He'll take whatever.]

a!
She's just glad that people are actually making use of the communal garden, now that it's all set up!
Well, tomatoes are a little more complicated, she's learned, but thankfully, there are others around who look like they know what they're doing more than she does. With the supports in the dirt, she steps back and tilts her head.]
Do you think they're too far apart...?
no subject
...You might be right. [He glances at the pile of wooden supports nearby. He picks one up, setting it upright before drawing his katana. After a moment of staring at it, he slices the support in two. He then picks up the smaller piece, offering it to Tifa.] Use this to determine the distance.
no subject
Thanks...
[She pauses to do this first—taking out one support stick and plunging it right into the dirt to match, giving it a few decent hits on top to make sure that it's in there.]
You know, I probably should've thought this through first before I decided on tomatoes. I've never grown vegetables before... They're a bit different from flowers.
[Very different. And the flowers that she's had experience with were not even hers to begin with! Aerith had been the one to plant those, and she just babysat them.]
no subject
You learn from experience. Eventually you'll figure it out, just like with flowers.

Oh, hey! I have a quick question...do you know what this flower is called?
[He's pointing to some white flowers growing in the soil curiously.]
no subject
I was told they're balloon flowers.
no subject
[ Are they called balloon flowers because of the shape it has? Nier nods and looks at Kazuma again. ]
You seem familiar to me somehow. Is this our first time meeting?

There is a lot of work to be done on the spot, though. Sora and Tifa worked hard to set up the basics but a lot could be put into this place. The weeds need to be done and maybe some more planters or fencing could be put in soon.]
Ah! Hey again, Kazuma!
[He waves at the other. Sora has a little shovel in his hand and a small bucket he's using to clean the place up.]
How's it going? Do you like the garden so far?
no subject
It's nice, with room for expanding. [He glances over at the pond.] Are the singing fish necessary...?
no subject
Uh-huh! Who doesn't like singing fish? Maybe they'll help the plants we grow by cheering them on with their songs.
[How very magical!]
no subject
Was this garden always here? Or did you actually work the land to turn it into one?

[ The princess is just descending the ladder from her treehouse when she hears the familiar 'shiiing' of a blade being drawn. Zelda drops down the last few rungs of her ladder and whirls around to find one of her neighbors squaring off against.... is that a four-legged cucco? Oh no. This can only end one way. ]
Wait, stop! [ Zelda rushes toward the scene, inserting herself between Kazuma and his feathered foe. ] Don't attack it. That'll only make things worse.
Re: B
Look out! [He rushes forward to push Zelda aside as the rooster, ignoring what was going on, comes in to strike Zelda with it's talons from behind.]
no subject
[ Whatever the case, it looks like the time for diplomacy between man and rooster had already passed before she arrived. A fight might be inevitable. ]
Be careful! Roosters can be very mean when they feel threatened. [ Not a very helpful warning at this stage. ] What in the world did you do to make it so angry?
no subject
This stupid rooster suddenly attacked as soon as I walked out of my home.
