Dreamotion Allergies
[With spring comes flowers and fresh-budding trees,, and with new growth comes the inevitable storm of pollen that fills the air. It’s causing for many to get allergies, and unfortunately for one certain exorcist, he’s not immune to the effects of seasonal allergies.]
[Although, as he tries to handle his allergies while he goes out and about, he’s not prepared for the added effects that come with them. Most notably, the small, very present flurry cloud that seems to follow him wherever he goes, despite the warming weather. The cool air is nice, but with his puffy eyes and stuffy nose Chongyun can’t really appreciate the cold that much. If he gets snow on you, he snuffles and rubs his eyes.]
Ah..! I’m sorry, I really can’t control this…
[It’s really unfortunate… especially when he sneezes, as when he does, a small blast of frost and snow kick up around him.]
Ugh… oh no…
Crystal Fishing
[For those who are there to help with the increased fish population, they can find Chongyun sitting near the crystal bait area, looking to be quite focused on what he’s doing. He’s got a small basin of crystals beside him, and strangely enough, small crystal shards all around him. He holds one in his hands, taking a slow breath.]
Okay. I can do this…
[He breathes out slowly, and, still holding the crystal in his hands, tries to channel some of his congenial positivity into the crystal. He looks quite serious as he does it, but soon, the crystal begins to glow as his positive energy is slowly filtered into it. It all seems to be going well, the crystal growing brighter as more energy fills it, until…]
[With a loud cracking sound, the crystal shatters in his palm, startling Chongyun. Clearly, it was filled with too much energy and shattered. Chongyun stares at the shards for a moment, before sighing, brushing the shards off of his hand and trying again.]

Fishing!
[While also doing their best not to disturb anyone that might be fishing either. From observation they noticed it took lot of silence and concentration, so the last thing someone needed was a cute shadow creature startling them or the fish.]
[...Or so that would've been the case, had they not heard a crystal shatter, kind of loudly and abruptly. In the end who was really scaring who since Ghost quickly fled under the dock after knocking more bait over, and most of the fish near the surface disappeared.]
no subject
[Chongyun was just about to try again when he hears the bucket of bait knock over and the splish-splash of fish fleeing. He looks up at the area where the commotion occurred, and he frowns.]
...hello? Is someone there?
[His posture shifts a little, his exorcism training kicking up. Was there a threat nearby?]
no subject
[Though whatever it was, eventually it was climbing its way to the top of the docks now. ...Too wet and damp down there, and the explosion stopped so it's probably safe to come out now. Might be worth checking out what exactly happened too.]
no subject
Um... hello?
no subject
[They lifted their head up slightly to look at Chongyun but otherwise don't any movements that could be considered threatening. Though there probably was some type of deep, dark energy radiating off of them. Not 'evil' just... Ominous. Foreboding maybe?]
[Yet on the dreamotion side of things they were also just puzzled. Eventually looking back towards the basket of crystals that he had been using.]
[Well, and the ones that fell into the water too.]
no subject
[In any case, Chongyun follows the being's gaze to the crystals, and Chongyun stares at them for a moment before a thought hits him.]
Oh... were you watching me working with those crystals?
no subject
[As for the other basket, hmm...]
[Ghost was kind of wary since they had some bad experience with large water creatures in this world. But so long as they were fast and careful enough, they can dive back into the water and retrieve as many as possible. The water at the edge of the lake was somewhat shallow so the likelihood of another giant amphibian or sea monster catching them was pretty slim anyway.]
no subject
Ah, well… I apologize if I startled you. I was trying to fill it with positive energy, but I seem to have overdone it.
[He picks up another crystal, holding it in his hand for a moment before looking to the masked being before him.]
Excuse me, but… what exactly are you? Are you a spirit of some kind?
no subject
[...And so a small tilt to the head. Whatever they were supposed to be now, it's complicated.]
no subject
Hmm... well, you don't seem to be malicious in nature... if you are just wanting to catch fish with me, I see no reason not to. Although, I am not doing a good job at crafting the bait...
no subject
[Ghost was not so sure what would happen, or if anything would, but they hoped it wouldn't be like last time when all the crystals they touched turned into bitter, black candy. And for a moment it did almost seem so, their energies were corrupting the crystal in such a way it was turning into just a deep dark, lifeless rock. At least until they suddenly figured out how to change it around by focusing some Soul into it.]
[Maybe it wasn't the positive energy needed. Maybe it was too unstable and would shatter at any moment. But for now, it had gone from a solid black to a pure white with a pale glow. The coloring was somewhat reminiscent of the altars that used to collect this stuff naturally. Or so that's what it reminded them of.]
no subject
Amazing… you were able to fill a Crystal all on your own? [He carefully picks up the and looks it over.] I must apologize. Perhaps I misjudged you…
[He gives the crystal back to the being, before holding up his own. As he focuses on it, it slowly begins to glow like before.]
I have been trying to do the same as you have, with these crystals. I have a condition wherein I have an over abundance of positive energy, so I thought I could perform this task easily. But every time I try, it—!
[He’s not able to finish, for as he talks, the crystal once again shatters in his hand.]
no subject
[But with this is mind, they can try again. And without having to fight it from turning to Void as much this time, and, hey! It looks a lot nicer.]
[...To which they promptly gave over to Chongyun. Whether as a gift or whatever else he wants to use it for.]
no subject
Is this for me..?
[He even points to himself. Really? For him??]
Crystal Fishing
[Ventus comes over after hearing a sudden shattering sound.
He blinks over at Chongyun, looking just a bit concerned.]
no subject
[Chongyun looks up in surprise at the blond, before frowning and glancing off to the side, scratching the back of his head.]
Ah, forgive me. I'm alright, but it seems I've overcharged the crystal... again.
no subject
'Again'? It happens often?
no subject
[Chongyun lets out a sigh, brushing the crystal shards from his hands.]
They said that if you were to charge the crystal with positive energy, it could act like a bait. I thought I would be a good candidate, given I have a condition that fills me with an overabundance of positive energy. However, it appears that even when channelling small amounts, I seem to overcharge them and cause them to shatter.
no subject
[It's a guess.]
...What kind of condition fills you with a lot of it?
[He looks curious. Chongyun, are you a being of pure light, too?]
no subject
[He ponders that for a moment, but then looks up at the blonde.]
Oh, well... I was born with a rare condition known as congenial positivity. It's so rare that apparently it only appears once in a thousand generations. It means I was born with a pure-yang spirit. It allows me the ability to repel evil for miles, but it also means I am over-abundant in positive energy. And that has... well, unintended consequences.
[Like being unable to handle hot things without going heckin wild.]
no subject
That...
[Pause.]
Sounds like it can be difficult to live with sometimes.
no subject
It is. Because I am prone to emotional impulses, I am constantly having to keep my mind and body in a calm state to make sure I don't have an outburst. I also try to avoid anything heated to avoid accidentally triggering it.
no subject
[....He kind of feels bad for you in that case.]
no subject
no subject
[Head tilt.]
If that's the case, then you might need some more crystals to help spread the positive energy?
no subject
[He pauses, before looking up at Ven once more.]
Forgive me, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Chongyun, an exorcist.
no subject
[He gives him a smile.]
My name is Ventus, but you can call me Ven for short.
no subject
[He knows he was given permission to call him 'Ven', but he's a polite kid.]
I think I am going to try that suggestion you mentioned. Perhaps focusing on several crystals at once will prove more beneficial.
no subject
Do you want some help?
no subject
If you are willing to help... I won't say no.
no subject
[Smile?]
no subject
[He goe sto grab himself a small handful of crystals.]
Hmm... let's try with three at first, and go from there...
