[ It's short, and to the point. Susato doesn't use the journal often to broadcast like this, but now that she is, she feels it prudent to be as direct as possible. ]

To whom it may concern: For the past couple weeks, the Reverein communal clinic has been without a proper doctor to run it. If you are in need of aid, please be patient, as the volunteers are doing the very best they can. If you have medical experience and would like to help, please let me know. Thank you. 🌸 B. move along, move along, like i know you do.

[ Within the garden of the Wild Harvest, among the faint hissing of snakes and the lull of the waterfalls, Susato closes her journal and tucks away her pen. She takes a deep breath as she moves to stand from her favorite bench, and she walks with purpose into an area littered with stars that look like stepping stones upon the ground.

For a moment, she stops and simply stares. There it is. A blank star, waiting for a name. Perhaps it appeared some time ago. Perhaps she simply ignored it, but after digesting recent events, she has no time to wallow in the remaining stages of grief. He's not even dead, but she wonders if that doesn't make things worse.

Either way, she doesn't even need a pen. She slowly bends down, spending another moment feeling the rough surface of the starfish with her hand before she commits with her pointer finger.

The strokes appear in a glow, and the end result looks engraved. ]

It's not a burden, especially since this is what I trained for back home.

I'm more than happy to take over for your father in case he winds up coming back, everything will be maintained at least, and people will have the clinic in case something bad happens.

That sounds wonderful, I'm so relieved. A friend of mine has agreed to bring me some healing potions too in the meantime, which should do in a pinch if there are any emergencies. Did you ever have a chance to visit since we last spoke? [ The clinic, that is. ]

I've been stopping by every couple of days! But that last...event? It was a lot so I needed to...rest a little bit.

But any type of medicine or potions is welcome! Would you like me to stop by now? I'm not busy so I can definitely go over there.

[ ...'A lot.' Ah. Something to ask about, perhaps. ]

I would appreciate the company. I have taken some time off from the Harvest today in order to do some tidying here, so I will be here for a while.

[ It was a lot turning into a suit of armor!!! And of course, fighting again. Shigeru hasn't fought in some time and it...doesn't bring up the greatest of memories? So he's been having nightmares as of late. ]

Oh yes of course! It's going to be one of my duties from now on so I'm definitely willing to help! Besides cleaning...relaxes me, so it's a win-win for me. I'll head right over!

[ And with that last reply, he'll head over and get there rather quickly. Susato will hear the door open before there's a light knock and a soft whistle from Shigeru to indicate his presence. He wouldn't want to startle her while she's busy cleaning. ]

[ After a quick reply in acknowledgement, Susato sets her journal aside, leaving it open on the front desk as she continues her work. She moves about, and by the time Shigeru arrives, there's a shelf that's been cleared out for Ori's potions to come, and another that's got books linked up all neat and organized.

On the desk, there's a bouquet of blue hydrangeas in a vase, the blooms of which have been there for ages, unchanging as if they were fake. When she hears the whistle, she turns and waves to Shigeru, welcoming him inside. ]

Hello, Shigeru-san! Thank you for coming... I hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

[ Shigeru waves her off and shakes his head 'no' as he gives a smile. ]

This isn't an inconvenience at all! I'm more than happy to help you out. What would you like me to do first? I can clean up the examination rooms if you want?

[ She peers over his writing, taking a moment to read before giving a nod. ]

That would be great. I've got the lobby handled, so once I'm done here, I plan to work my way outward. I can join you.

Then there's the second floor... He was studying the Dawn flowers there.

[ Ah. Those flowers that 76 had mentioned, are they? Shigeru's not very good with gardening or anything like that. But, well, he can perhaps help out when needed when it came to that sort of thing. ]

I'm not the best when it comes to taking care of plants and the like...but I'll do my best to make sure they're maintained. At least until we find someone who can give them the care they need.

[ Susato shakes her head. ]

It's alright. I am no expert either, but I have always helped care for them when I can. I'm... not sure if it ever came up between the two of you, but there is a small greenhouse attached to our house that he built by hand, to give them a safe space to grow.

We didn't talk about it too much, but he did mention it briefly. I'll be sure to keep an eye on them. I wouldn't want anything to happen to them since they're rather important for the community as a whole. But maybe asking someone who's good with plants to offer a helping hand might be best.

[ By now there's Aerith. Mr 76, she'd gather, also knows a lot about Dawn flowers in particular, and he had grown up learning about flowers in general from his mother, as she understands it.

You've met Ori, haven't you?

[ Shigeru beams when he hears Ori's name drop. He nods emphatically before writing something. ]

Yes! She's really wonderful and very nice! We were going to go forage for plants and things in the future!

[ Susato smiles. As long as it's not anytime soon, since Ori definitely needs time to recover... ]

She has offered to bring healing potions, and she's quite knowledgeable about plant life as well. A perfect candidate. I will be sure to mention it when she stops by.

Healing potions are something I'm still unfamiliar with. We don't really need those where I'm from because of people like me...so learning how they work and how to make them would be great. I guess it's the same thing as medicine but with a more herbal style of it.

History books from my home of the time before the war mentioned such things so they did exist back in the day.

...It's something I've thought about, too. I was thinking I could help her gather the ingredients, if she'll let me. That will probably require some adventuring into the Wildlands, though.
