Madame Blackbird’s
(As always, Anya can be found working at the clothing portion of Madame Blackbird’s shop. It has gotten pretty busy with the Fairytale Faire coming ever closer and she is fully booked too. Fabrics, threads, and embellishments on hand, she is proceeding to make them into really costumes any person would be happy to wear for it. But hey that is a life of a seamstress during a Faire season.)

Dreamotion Training
(Outside her tree house, Anya is getting herself ready for some more dreamotion skill training as she gets herself mentally prepared for anything the Story Eater could throw at her. She first starts off by sending ice and fire attacks at the boxes she uses for targets.

After a while, she gets a little bit tired and decides to take a break for a moment before continuing again. Feel free to check what she is doing or wave at her as she rests up.)

Hm, I don’t recall many of my relatives would do anything bad to each other unless they really gaye each other do much. Nor do I recall anyone within my parents’ circles would try to conspire against Papa since I was very young to care much about things happening within the court.

But I do want to ask you a question: have you heard of the name Gregori Rapustin?

I am. He's fairly famous, actually, historically speaking, for having survived four assassination attempts including a stabbing, two poisonings, and two shootings.

Most people remember that and a rumored affair with the queen, but I was unaware of any attempted betrayal.

I'm going to hazard a guess that our histories may differ on the subject of Rasputin.

I can agree too. It seems our worlds have differences on how things went down. I honestly don’t care recall the rumors about Mama dating somebody behind Papa’s back since they do love each other.

On the other hand, the Rasputin I knew in my world tried to drag me down a frozen river only for him to break a part of the ice he was on and fell down into said river but he somehow survived it for ten years.

What's the catch?

He has a relic that he can use to summon green winged minions and cause all sorts of damages as he wishes. I mean, he wrecked a giant chandelier and a part of a bridge in Paris by just projecting powerful beams at them.

I’m not exactly sure as to how he did got his hands on it, but there is a possible chance that he may have a Faustian deal that has one rule: if something bad happens to the relic, he is basically doomed. Which did happened after I stomped down on said relic.

Grigori Rasputin. Apparent demon-summoner and firer of magic lasers, blew up a bridge in Paris, murdered by the missing Russian princess who'd survived the October Revolution, apparently, in a case of (probable) self-defense.

Hhhhuh.

That differs a bit from historical record.

Yes it is completely different. Same people, different timelines. I am just as surprised by how vast the universe can be too.

(Said missing Russian princess who is doing her best not to crack up at the alternate version of her world where apparently Rasputin didn’t try to curse her entire family out of spite and she didn’t live to see another.)

Your world sounds... interesting. We might have to compare notes, sometime, though I'm not certain how much knowledge turn-of-the-twentieth-century Russia would know about Japanese history.

That would sound like a good idea. I will admit that I wasn’t the most dedicated to my studies compared to my older sisters growing up, but I can offer some sights as well.

Alternate timelines and worlds are very intriguing.
