Apple Picking
(Despite her less than stellar experience harvesting weird vegetables and fruits, Isabela feels like wanting to help out in gathering apples. After all, if there is something involving plants, she is gonna be there. As she is picking up her basket to start her apple picking, Isa finds herself getting partly distracted by some of those crystalflies flying right in front of her.)

Whoa, whoa, whoa! What are these things flying all over the orchards? They look so… transparent and shiny.


How to Use Your Dreamotion
Okay. This should be a lot of fun to get better at what I’m doing.

(Isabela has plenty of work to do with how she could handle her dreamotion abilities. So far her animal communication skills have been improving, but it is her newly developed wind ability she wants to focus on. Which explains why she is pouring all her attention to moving wind at her control with a grace of a dancer.

And then suddenly she accidentally sneezes, which summons a hurricane by accident that causes a bit of damage at the area she is training at. Ho boy isn’t she quite embarrassed of what just happened as she turns her attention to whoever witnesses her sneezing accident.)

Oops! I’m sorry about that. I didn’t mean to cause a bit of a mess right now.

Flower Shop Plans
(While she is not busy practicing dreamotion abilities or juggling errands and quests, Isabela is preparing her flower shop to be opened soon. It was a pain to ensure that there is enough space on the ground level for retail space and make the upper level a good place for her to live in, but she is nevertheless happy to get the flower shop open soon.

You might find her sweeping up the floors, gardening at the backyard, or arranging the shop displays for the eventual opening. She could definitely use some help to get the store ready for the day right now.)

( it was purely by chance that he happened upon the would-be flower shop, giving in to curiosity like any self-respecting phantom thief, and taking a quick peek inside. whoever was in charge certainly seemed to have two green thumbs, if the displays and bouquets were anything to go by.

oh— speaking of the one in charge...? )

Oh, hi. ( he greeted simply, finally spotting Isabela in the opposite corner from where he'd found himself. ) Is this place yours?

(Isabela was so busy preparing the store for some time that she didn’t seem to pay attention to see who shows up to check on the progress. But she did eventually get to stop her clean up when Ren asks her if this is her place.)

Oh, hello there! Yes, this is actually my place and I am currently in the middle of setting up shop on this treehouse level.

( honestly she seems to have a very impressive array of plants around.
he'll thumb the air behind him towards some arrangements he finds particularly eye-catching. )

Do you grow all of these by yourself?

Oh yes, I actually grow many of these plants myself. Although I did have to resort to gathering some and talk with some local farmers and gardeners to get some plant saplings since I am still learning about the local flora in this town.

Pretty impressive. ( he nodded with appreciation, still looking around— )

I'm more of a hobbyist gardener myself, but even I can recognize a green thumb when I see it.

Oh gee, thank you so much. (She can’t help blushing upon hearing the compliment.)

I have been doing tons of gardening and horticulture ever since I was very young. You can say that plants have been a big part of my life for a long time.

Seems like the hard work has been a great payoff, then.

( he adjusts his glasses once more, turning back to her. )

I'm Amamiya, by the way. Ren Amamiya.

Isabela Madrigal, it is very nice to meet you too, Ren.

(She in turn introduces herself to him with a curtesy when her capybara arrives with a basket of assorted gardening tools on its mouth. It seems to be also busy with gathering hard to find tools and equipment for her as she is pretty busy getting the whole place set up.

There is so much a person can do to get one’s business ready before opening.)

You too, I— oh. What's this, a helper maybe?

( he crouches down to a more capybara-appropriate height, with an impressed look. )

Let's see, spade, claw, pick... looks like you're armed to the tooth in gardening tools there, buddy.

Yes, but not just any helper, this one is also a friend and pet too.

(The Capybara gives Ren a soulful glance as it brings the basket on the floor for Isabela to collect. She happily chuckles as she pats the rodent on the head and picks up the basket.)

Oh yeah, it has been helping in gathering gardening tools for me for a while. It doesn’t hurt to have extra tools in case they might break in the middle of planting and harvesting.

Very true, it's great to be prepared for the unexpected, especially in the heart of harvest season.

( he gives her furry friend a nod of approval, wondering if the rodent is friendly enough for stranger-pets to be thing... )

It'd be a lot of work on your own, so having a friend and helper is the best way to go.

Why thank you, Ren. It is going to be a very busy few months ahead with the produce ready to be harvested. I was even told by a friend that the fall foliage looks amazing too.

I am hoping to prepare for it well in advance to make easier on myself and the capybara is helping me out as much as it could.

Fall foliage, that's right... It might be really something to take note of in a dream world like Reverein.

( he nods, as though committing that to memory, before addressing the next part: )

Hmm. I think I already mentioned I'm not expert but— I have dug in the dirt for veggies a few hundred times by now. So if it's more hands you need, then...

(Isa nods in agreement with Ren in the fall foliage part. She probably never saw a lot of fall stuff at home for a long while, so she is pretty interested in that.

Getting a lot of help and hands onboard to help her out has gotten her attention when Ren told her about having dug up dirt for vegetables before he came to the shop.)

That sounds like a wonderful idea. I wouldn’t say no to accepting extra hands on board since I anticipate that it is going to be a very busy season ahead of me and I could definitely get plenty of help along the way.
