Who: Hans Westergaard and open
Which: Interactive dream
What: It's King Hans of Arendelle, everything is totally fine with no murder involved.
Warnings: Discussions of murder prob
[There's a celebratory feeling in the castle, with food and drinks being served to everyone that's decided to attend the celebration. Oh, you haven't heard? Apparently, the new king saved the kingdom by slaying an ice queen, it's just too bad his fiancé froze to death-- but everything is in good hands, right? The people seem to be relieved, especially as they laugh and drink throughout the night.
For whatever reason, maybe as if to greet his new subjects, Hans is making his rounds around the party, dressed mostly the same, except for a crown on his head. Eventually, he'll come across your character and--]
I'm the newly crowned King Hans of Arendelle.
[He smiles almost politely, but there's definitely something off about this whole situation, even if you don't know him. It probably doesn't help that the music that's playing sounds just slightly off.]
I wish to express my gratitude that you decided to come here. That snowstorm was awful, wasn't it? Please, make yourself comfortable.

[ Either she can't make them out, or her subconscious is protecting her from it. She trails off, hoping to offer him something more substantial, but she merely looks apologetic for wasting his time.
She shakes her head. ]
It must be nothing. I don't wish to bring down your celebrations. [ ......Maybe it's about time she stop being a bookworm. ]
no subject
[He's not sure if he fully believes her, but he lets the matter go. Hans lets out a quiet breath, before smiling and offering a hand to her.]
You're not ruining the celebrations, but you shouldn't seclude yourself in the first place. If you're truly living on borrowed time, it's best to enjoy every last moment.
no subject
......That should have been enough to deter her, but she gently takes his arm, reaching forward with agonizing slowness. Is this... really OK? ]
I should honestly be more disturbed that you think I am dying, Your Majesty...but you know, someone else once offered me a dance in much the same manner.

We can't avoid unfortunate truths. [That's not really reassuring, is it? But Hans slowly takes her to the center of the room, even if people are staring icily at them.]
Oh? Did you dance with them? Hopefully we can make this a memorable experience.
no subject
She would normally whither under the crushing judgement of the others staring, but that judgement seems distant, and even the whispers became even less clearer than before. As she nods at him, it feels like they're the only ones in the room. ]
...I have no doubt it will be.
[ She doesn't answer the question. The music swells as they near the center of the room, and as they dance, Hans will feel her fingers get subtly colder to the touch, even through the gloves. ]

There's a shift in the dream, and the people around have stopped focusing on them, as if giving Susato a brief mercy. It's enough freezing to death without hope to recover.]
I don't believe I've ever caught your name.
[He asks as he steps in line with the music, never missing a beat.]
no subject
S, Susato.
[ Another tuft of her hair seems to turn white starting from its very roots. Her breath can be seen in a puff of cold smoke as she speaks. ]
Susato Mikotoba, Your Majesty.
no subject
I'll remember you name, Lady Mikotoba. It's unfortunate that such a curse has been inflicted upon you. Is there any last act I can do for you, perhaps send a message to your family?

She can see a brief flash of her father's smiling face before he tips his hat and turns the other way. A deep sadness seeps in from her reality, not for her fate, but for the loss of her father. Where did he go...? Why can't she remember?
Even if he did relay a message through Hans, he would not deliver it.
"Liar."
"Murderer!"
The whispers become ever clearer, all to the same effect before one voice rings out:
"He slayed the ice queen for her crown, and left his fiancé to die." ]
No--
[ Her arms become heavy. Her fingers can no longer move, and just like water circling a drain, the entire process seems to become faster, the more her body is consumed. ]
Let go of me!
no subject
[He watches as the ice begins to incase her body, with no empathy or concern in his expression. Maybe it's a shame, but there's little he can do but watch the curse run its course. Besides, it's almost fascinating.]
Your death is inevitable now, I've seen it before with Princess Anna. It should be quick, maybe painless. She didn't scream as it happened.
no subject
She's terrified.
She's terrified of a death that comes too soon, which only makes it come faster. Soon her arms are completely stiff, her gloves having been encased in ice in the process, and it radiates down until she's no longer able to move at all. The ice travels right up to her throat, and it feels like she's treading water. Drowning. ]
I will not give you that satisfaction. I--
...!!
[ She's not able to finish. Her entire neck freezes over, and her entire face soon follows--a look of pure defiance, immortalized. The dream audibly shatters like the sound of ice breaking, and she wakes up in total darkness--drenched in sweat and gasping for breath as she shoots up in her bed, covers be damned.
A single phrase echoes in her head in his voice, though it's so distant, she might not even recognize it. If only there was someone out there who loved you. ]
