Leprechaun Manhunt
Alastor hadn't hesitated for a moment when the request for assistance in apprehending the leprechauns that had gotten away was posted. He immediately set to work searching. Others seemed to have the town covered, so Alastor decided to roam farther for any who might have fled to the woods and beyond.
The prey had gone to ground. It was just a question of where it'd gotten off to.
He licked his fangs in anticipation. "I wonder if leprechaun tastes similar to redcap."
All I Want For Christmas Is You
Alastor may have died long before Christmas started encroaching on fall, but his connection to the radio had meant that he'd heard the progression over the decades. To think someone had gone this far to try and stop the pattern.
Honestly, he didn't mind that the Christmas music started earlier and earlier each year. It pushed out the at times utterly dreadful modern tunes in favor of the classic standards. If nothing else, it gave his ears a break from him tugging on them as he mentally prayed for the void. That and he got to enjoy others wailing and cursing songs they hated played on loop for several weeks. Gave them a taste of his own personal Hell.
So locking up this poor unfortunate Siren just wouldn't do. What gentleman wouldn't want to rescue her and cause a little chaos?
Dreamwalking/Nightmare Walking
Given he'd already been forced into a full cervine form twice, it made sense to get in a bit of practice before it happened again.
He shifted to the form of a stag modeled after a white-tailed deer. Only his coat was predominantly red with black accents where white should be. He had a grand set of jet black antlers -- thirteen points, all wickedly sharp -- and massive cloven hooves. But anyone who knew Alastor would recognize those red irises on darker red sclera and that fanged grin that never left the creature's face.
Once transformed, Alastor started to walk. What dream or nightmare had he found this time?

All I Want for Christmas is You
She didn’t consider about having the song to play in loops for weeks on end: there are much more pressing things she wants to focus on than getting annoyed by Christmas songs besides work and working on her dreamotion abilities. And she assumes that this is what she’ll get for freeing her eventually.
So she approaches the area where the siren is held captive and finds Alastor having his eyes on the cage holding her too.
“Hi there. I’m also here to save the siren,” she tells him as she gets closer, “I was wondering if, you know, we can team up in freeing her from that cage.”

He spun on his toes to face Anya, a few snatches of "All I Want For Christmas is You" dancing through his ambient static.

“Do we ned to plan first or do we go right in first? Whichever works for you.”

He didn't like the idea of women fighting, honestly. There was a reason men were the idiots who went to war, after all. Still, ninety years in Hell where even the women would roll up their sleeves and join in the brawl had forced him to adjust his attitude at least a little.

Anya is thinking that it would be very chaotic and satisfying to see Alastor causing havoc onto the captors while she attempts to sneak in to break the siren free. But she can still put up a good fight as she does so in many times before, she is just in the mood for sneaking in and prison breaking someone from a cage.

"Certainly!" Alastor gave her a bow before disappearing.
Then he reappeared in the midst of the group of guards.
"Hello!" Alastor chirped merrily as the men gawped. "How about some music?"
And, yup, going to project out "All I Want For Christmas Is You".
Every single one of the guards immediately rushed him to try and get him to stop. Alastor easily danced out of their clutches, leading them away from the imprisoned siren. He could easily kill them all, but where was the fun in that?

As Anya approaches her and the cage, she could see that she and the cage have been encased in ice. How did these individuals were able to freeze her like that literally escapes her mind. Luckily she has been training hard to get her fire magic on to melt the ice as quickly as possible.
So there she goes, patiently melting the ice trapping the siren while occasionally checking around for anyone who might attack her and refreeze the siren again. She really hates it when someone tries to interrupt her work.

Might as well have fun with it, right?

Her determination is on point and there is no way anyone could try to stop her in her goal. She will even have to set fire on someone’s clothes or weapons just to prove a point.

Alastor walked casually up behind her, his arms tucked behind himself and a wide grin on his face.

“Did you managed to distract those guards while I’m on ice melting duty?”
no subject
He was quite proud of that fact, too.

“Impressive. I’m almost done freeing the siren from the ice, just a few more inches to go,” she follows up as she has the last of the ice holding the siren back.
...I just realized Anya and Alastor are technically from the same time period.

She doesn’t mind the extra help while the guards are still down for the time being. Anya is praying that they won’t wake up so soon.

Any minute now...

Anya does wish that she could have brought along ears muffs right now: the wailing is nearly hurting her hearing a bit. But at least she did saved the siren, so she will take that as her way of showing gratitude.

"Welcome, my dear! I suggest you be off to inspire some Christmas cheer before your former jailers wake up to imprison you again!"
