It's a Genshin Christmas

What: Genshin cast meets up for dinner and a small party, chaos ensues

[The temperature dropped, snow started to fall and it seems like Reverein is preparing for some kind of holiday. Aether observes all of that with fascination and decides that this is a perfect moment to gather everyone for a dinner together. Surely, a meeting at such a time will help them all get along!

...Hopefully.

Every person from Teyvat will get an invitation as Aether gets to work, and when the day comes around, all invited will be welcomed by the traveler and lead inside to the living room.

All kinds of dishes can be found on the table and everyone should be able to find something they like. Apart from various specialities from Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma, there are also Snezhnayan dishes, all thanks to a certain Harbinger who helped Aether prepare this feast. You can also find various drinks and teas to warm you up (likely a contribution from Diluc and Zhongli), though Aether did not foresee that a certain bard may be trying to add something to those drinks. Be careful not to get drunk!

Apart from food, you can warm up by the fireplace and there are also blankets stacked on the couch in case someone felt particularly cold today.

In the corner of the room there are many small boxes with bows, each one having a name tag. Apparently, this is a gift-giving season so the traveler felt the need to include that in his plans. The gifts are really not too much, many will find cookies and a colourful holiday card inside, but it's the thought that counts!

Sadly, not everything is planned. Aether could not expect that his house will be so inviting for Gumdrops. The small creature will float around, urging you to hug or kiss... or fight! Aether definitely does not like that last kind.]

[Venti finds himself blushing! Putting a hand to his chest he lets out a tiny little sigh.]

Oh, you really don't have to fuss, Xiao.

[ What if he leans over and gives Venti a peck on those sighing lips. ]

You don't get a say in it.

Oh? I don't?

[If Xiao leans back from that surprise kiss Venti will follow to give another.]

[ Naturally he is going to lean back. So Venti is going to get Xiao's cheek in return.

To be honest, he's not even surprised any longer. It doesn't quite fluster him as it had at the start. Yet his cheeks are still warm. ]

No, you don't. If it is something that you don't desire, then you should reconsider gifts yourself.

[Venti kisses his cheek and then immediately pouts.]

My my, Xiao. You're being very cute.

[He can give a gift and not want one in return, wtf!]

If you think complementing me in such a manner is going to fluster me to the point where I am going to forget?

Then you are very much mistaken.

[ Because he is not! He is not going to forget. Xiao is going to remember this and, of course, figure out a way to pay the other back.

Because he should do just that. After all, Venti does mean quite a bit to him. ]

[Venti giggles in return because it's just like Xiao to say something like that. Try as he might to seem cold he is actually very kind-hearted and thoughtful.]

If that's the case I suppose the only option I have is to hold my breath!

[And accept the returned gift.]

[ To be fair, it's easier to come across as cold. People keep their distance then. Then they don't get caught up in his madness. ]

It will be something just as special...

[Venti finds himself smiling warmly at that.]

I look forward to it, Xiao. Ehe.

[ He hums. Then Xiao takes a moment to think. His fingers brush across the ornament... Fondly. Almost reverently once more. It's as though touching it like this helps him build up courage or at least relax.

But for what? ]

[Something resonates in his heart when he sees the yaksha touch his gift so fondly.]

Of course.

[Venti will start another soft song but this time it's a bit more lively.]

[ In all actuality, Xiao doesn't mind what sort of tune that Venti takes up. It could be sad or lively. Joyful or mourning. At the end of it all? Xiao just wants to hear Venti's voice. The tone soothes something deep within him and he longs for more of it.

So he settles in as the other starts. Then finds himself leaning against Venti. A head dropping onto a soft shoulder. ]

[This time it'll be soft Christmas songs that are foreign to the both of them. There is no Christmas in Teyvat. But the carols are sweet and cute.

With that, Venti will play for Xiao quietly in their corner.]
