1st Song | Can you fake it for just one more show?
Who: Demyx & You
Which: Open Log
Where: Various
What: Dream board quests, and maybe some impromptu sitar playing.
Warnings: Shouldn’t be any... Will match format.
I. Chinchompra Hunting
Demyx didn’t know what he was meant to do in this world, not really. He couldn’t just up and leave it, which was alright because it wasn’t a bad place, but it left him wondering just what his purpose was. He doesn’t have anyone to seek out, he doesn’t have much on him including a lack of munny, so out of sheer curiosity or boredom, maybe even for the reward.
He didn’t have anything in hand, he was just walking around crouched low to the ground, whistling lightly. “Here little rodent, come here...I’m not going to hurt you!”
He probably wasn’t, either, but he would likely attempt to grab them and they were probably not going to love that.
II. Cupid’s Pranks
[A]
When Demyx encountered someone who was acting hostile or amorous, he found himself stepping backwards. “Whoa.”
It didn’t matter which, he wasn’t entirely sure what to make of any of it. He was looking around, taking in the scene, maybe looking for the culprit.
That wasn’t to say that someone else wouldn’t attempt to distract him from doing that.
[B – choose, hostile or amorous?]
This time it was him that was struck by cupid’s arrow. Demyx would close his eyes for a moment and open them again.
He smirked slightly and approached the person nearest to him.
III. Singing Flowers
He looked at the request and glanced around to see if anyone else was interested in gathering them.
“Going for the flowers?” He asked. He definitely wanted to check out singing flowers. If not, well, he might have to go alone and that would just be sad, wouldn’t it?
IV. Chocolate Hearts
“A chocolate golem?” He mused, wondering about the rumour. “Think it’s true? I heard people will pay a lot for chocolate hearts.” Demyx said.
V. He Could Be A Bard
Possibly the best way he could earn some gems would be to perform, which Demyx always wanted to do, except he knew some very boring people who did not typically appreciate his music. Demyx was settled on a bench in the plaza, his sitar on his lap.
With any luck he might draw in someone willing to pay for a song, or even just anyone at all who happens to like listening to sitar music. His songs were either classical, musical numbers that he’d picked up in various worlds, or some kind of stream of consciousness thing where he was getting lost in musical thought.
At least here Demyx looked comfortably at peace.
VI. Wildcard
[Perhaps something a little more normal like grabbing a hot chocolate with him, having a little chat, going for a walk with this stranger? Maybe they just noticed that Demyx is looking a little lost.]

2-b -- coinflip generator says hostile
but he runs into Demyx, and he's about to raise his hand.
but then he notices that he gets hit with the arrow.
fuck.]
Uh...are you okay?
[he's going to back up just a hair, because he's not sure what Demyx got hit with, exactly.]
This can only help their relationship
What do you care?
[ His eyes narrow. His words are sharper than he ever would've intended otherwise, but he can't help but feel like the question is still true. There was no artifice there, he felt like Riku probably didn't care one way or another what happened. Who did? ]
no subject
Riku squints, as if it would help him figure out what Demyx's problem was, but obviously it doesn't really help anything.]
You've helped us, when we weren't here. I'm not just going to forget that.
no subject
Doesn't mean you have to care about me. I don't want you to lie to me. No one does. I'm not stupid.
[ What did helping them even get him? Well...Xehanort was dead, that was good. No wait, he's mad right now. He takes a step towards Riku. ]
You probably think you get it, right? You don't.
[ That was actually something Sora said that bothered him mildly at the time but he's feeling particularly hostile at the moment. ]
no subject
I don't lie.
[he runs his other hand through his hair for a moment.]
No, I don't get it. Not exactly. But that doesn't mean we have to be hostile.

With that, she cheerfully began to make her way over, waving hello.
"Hey there! Awesome lookin' tune-age you got going on!"
no subject
"Thanks. This is Arpeggio." He introduced them without hesitation.
"Big music fan?"
no subject
... Hey, it could be alive, for all she knew. Her family had run into a talking/singing harp...
"You bet! Powerline's my main man, but I'm open to all forms of beat!" She was pretty sure no one here knew Powerline, but it couldn't hurt to spread the gospel of the best singer and performer ever. "Never been a player myself, though. Only instruments I play are the controls of a plane."
no subject
"A plane? Ohhh, kinda like a gummiship right? I can't drive anything like that." He laughed. "Cool."
no subject
But now it was her turn to be confused and curious. "Gummiship? What's a... gummiship?" It sounded like candy, and the idea made her laugh, because - "It's not actually made out of candy, right?" Ha! As if!

III - Singing Flowers
Luckily she didn’t need look too far when Demyx approaches her and asks her if she is doing the quest as well. This gets her smile to beam up so quickly that she happily responds back, “Oh yes! Si I am also going to find the flowers as well.”
no subject
He wasn't sure if it would be as thrilling as it sounded, but the reward of his own ability to have a singing plant? He was beyond sold on the effort expended.
no subject
She has been searched to find a willing partner on this singing flower quest and the fact that there is now one who wants to work with her is getting her pretty excited. Two heads are always better than one head as most folks would say.
no subject
"Do you like music? Or flowers?" He supposed it could be one or the other, or both maybe.
no subject
Yes, Isabela is practically a plant nerd, so expect tons of plant knowledge coming out from her during this adventure.

I
While he's making his way between merchants, that's when he sees a strange man skulking around, apparently trying to creep up on one of the chinchompas. Interesting technique; surely he's not just trying to grab them though, is he...?
...Oh. Oh no. He totally is.]
S-sir!? I wouldn't do that, if I were you--!
no subject
How hard could it be to catch a little creature? It was smaller than him and hopefully not nearly as fast as him and with him approaching it looked almost scared. Well that was fine, he really wasn't going to hurt it.
Ryuunosuke's warning is a bit too late, his gloved fingers are already grasping the chinchompa.
It promptly explodes into crystalline glitter and he's covered in the stuff, head to toe, even his hair.
...that's not coming out easy is it? ]
....What? Why did...I didn't squeeze it, I swear!
no subject
Ryunosuke huffs a sigh, giving the stranger a sympathetic grimace. Like, hate to be the one to tell you this, buddy, but...]
Yes they... They do that, sometimes. Don't ask me why, I just know you can't sneak up and grab them like that.
[Also: keep your distance with all that glitter on you, pal.]
no subject
Wait, how are you supposed to catch them then?
[ Lucky for Ryunosuke he's not one for running up and hugging strangers, so he might be safe enough. ]
no subject
To his question, helpfully, Ryunosuke simply shrugs.]
I haven't the slightest idea. I imagine that's why the people around here have been having such a difficult time with them, at least in part. No one's been able to figure out a sure fire way of rounding them all up.

2B Amorous, not sorry at all
Oh! Howdy! What's up?
wow you might be sorry
Hey, it's nice to see you. How are you doing?
[ Look how friendly Flowey seems to be, how cute is that? ]
no subject
So you know those gnomes going around setting up electrical infrastructure? I've been helping them, but they've yet to inform a single person that work's going to be done on the house. They just waltz in and disregard anything else.
I mean trying to stop them is the right thing to do, right? It's what a Zendama would do. But part of me thinks I should just start ripping the band aid off and help the gnomes just get the work done faster so it stops happening.
no subject
They probably should ask first. Do you know how to make electricity?
[ It seems like Flowey is talented! ]
