A FEAST TO REMEMBER
It's our final event! A festive feast has been prepared to celebrate the success of fixing the tethers and defeat of Berot Sau. It also serves as a farewell and welcome to those who decide to either return home, stay, or just arrive. Reminiscing of the first time the dreamwalkers appeared, the fae have prepared something a little fun and unusual as a callback to that time three years ago. Wherever the final destination is for everyone, they hope this will be a feast to remember.

WORLD HOPPING
Nostilium and noctaere have spread to other worlds, and while the "waking" side of the worlds are so far safe, their dream realms are slowly deteriorating and will eventually affect everyone through their dreams. As the only ones aware of this danger, dreamwalkers from Songerein must traverse through the different realms to these other worlds, joining others who have similar dreamwalking abilities of their own—as well as the other local people who have stumbled into their world's dream realm while asleep. And within these dream realms, the tethers that connect all these worlds to the dream world are visible and in danger of breaking.
It's all hands on deck to prevent a catastrophic disaster!

OOC: The State of the Realm
Thanks to some creative thinking during Intermission (which is still going if you, yes you, would like to join in!), some things have changed for the better.
- Although the noctaere managed to take over Joshua it’s also been weakened due to various obstacles placed in its way.
- Add another +1 to your rolls against both Phoenix and Noctshua (I’ll update the chart)
- The antidote has increased efficacy. This means I’ll be rolling with a disadvantage* whenever someone tries to administer it during their Noctshua fight thread
*for those unused to tabletop RPGs, ‘disadvantage’ means that I roll two d20s and take the lower of the two numbers; buffs still apply
- More information on the person responsible for this mess, and many others (which will be revealed later in an official game event) has been uncovered by a couple of nosybodies (who are good at their jobs).
The True Ending has also been unlocked! That doesn’t mean it’s an automatic given (we have to see how this log goes!) but at least now it’s possible!
For those who have signed up to battle Phoenix and Noctshua, please refer to the OOC Plotting Post for instructions and details for rolls. For those who still wish to battle Phoenix and/or Noctshua. The waitlist is open for the former, and there is one spot left for the later. Everyone is still more than welcome to join in, whether part of the game/this plotline already or not!

0. THE GRAND DUCHY OF ROSARIA - JOSHUA'S DREAMSCAPE
Far from heaven flown, dry your eyes and let your wings fold. From the dark, light be reborn and rise from shadow
Following his escape to and simultaneously from Nightmare City, Joshua created a massive dome of fire marks the boundaries of his dreamscape, a means for him to seal himself away just as he turned full noctaere.
Should a Dreamer enter, whether out of curiosity or concern, they’ll find themselves in the Grand Duchy of Rosaria. The moment that they step in, it becomes clear that this is bigger on the inside than on the outside. Thankfully (and perhaps magically), it doesn’t take long to traverse the area. What would normally be at least a few hours’ walk will only take a few minutes. Unless, of course, the dreamer wants it to take hours, perhaps to enjoy all this beautiful land has to offer! Don't mind the tense atmosphere.
Rosaria is a country with a few ports on its outskirts. Go deeper and the landscape changes to marshlands, ancient architecture, the ruins of Phoenix Gate, and, in the capitol, Rosalith, the aptly named Rosalith Castle. The weather is pleasant, except for the swirl of ominous dark clouds surrounding Rosalith and Phoenix Gate.
Torgal, a large wolf, stands nearby, watching with keen eyes, ready to serve as a guide if needed.

NIGHTMARE CITY
On a fine, dreary day while Reverein is still experiencing the chaotic aftermath of worlds bleeding into Songerein, a familiar top hat, long tailed coat wearing figure will appear in the center plaza. Dubbed "
The Ringmaster," he calls out to everyone a friendly greeting, and while a bit wary, those who remember him and his crew who hosted the first Halloween carnival and subsequent iterations gather around to listen to what he has to say.
With a heartfelt plea, he asks assistance from the Dreamwalkers to help aid his brethren, "
Nightmarians" who are suffering from nightmares of their own. Residing in a city dominated by nostilium, they are creatures and figures who thrive off it and are able to live without issue, but the recent influx has affected even them. In return for receiving aid, they will help absorb the excess nostilium and seal remaining world fragments.
Meanwhile, the tapirs have another mission for those who would prefer staying behind in the city, and that is to start repairing the tethers.

here. Any outside characters participating in the log are canonly logged as appearing in Songerein in
June and will
remain in Songerein from the IC date of
June 14th. TDM only characters can only thread within this log. Anyone who apps in and is accepted will have their character count
June as their first time in the game without any disruption, so all content will carry over. Those who do not apply will disappear which should not seem too unusual, however players in game can choose to retcon and pretend a character was never there to begin with if it would be easier; or even think their presence was just a dream.
IMPORTANT! All outside characters MUST have "TDM" in their subject line, even if you might not app. This will help people differentiate those who are already in the game and those who are not.
