[It's hot. There's more to the day, yes, but it's hot. That's all Wanderer really cares about, especially since it's so hot his flying kitten is still asleep in his house and not perched on his hat.

Wanderer really, really hates the heat. He hates the cold too, but for some reason the heat is making him cranky. Why couldn't his creator have thought to put in a cooling system of some sort? No, he doesn't want to sweat, but it would be nice to be able to be cool in this gross heat!

He's sitting under a tree by the lake, trying to cool off and debating if he really wants to stick his feet in the lake. It's tempting.]

I'll be turning 21 later this month, as a matter of fact! Man alive, time really flies, doesn't it?

Not familiar with the zodiac? I thought there was a whole school of thought dedicated to the study of the stars and their associated meanings at the Akademiya.

[And hey look at that, it's time to enter Heizou's little apartment!

Like he said, it's not a large place. It's essentially a small studio apartment, with a bed and closet on the far side of the room by the windows and a basic kitchen close to the front door. There's a low table with a few cushions to sit on placed around it on the floor. And lined up against one wall are several bookshelves, all filled with boxes and a large variety of books. Most of them are indeed mystery novels, but besides the ones that are clearly part of a set or series, there's absolutely no semblance of organization in the way they've been shelved.

It's not the neatest place, either. Lots of books are scattered around various spots in the apartment, even laying open on the kitchen counters. Whoops?]

[Wanderer looks around and his hands twitch. He wants to clean this up. Why are you like this, Heizou.]

Hmm, strange. I don't see a bed.

[Heizou chuckles a little, moving to grab some of the books in the kitchen and checking them - just to make sure they're ones he's still going to continue reading later, not because he feels any need to put them away.]

It's there by the windows! [He gestures vaguely in that direction. Over there.] I do sleep, you know.
