[She leans a bit away when he comes close, touching the edges of this invisible barrier that she put down around him, and oh, how tempted she is to reach through it and pull him free and kiss him, but she will resist. Wait to see what he does when they stop at the very bottom tip of the heart again.]

Well. Guess the night's over then. That's too bad. [She feigns a sad pout and a great big sigh.] Was really looking forward to seeing what else you had planned.

[She scoots backwards on her skates to add a little distance between them, and starts to unhook her coat, revealing her periwinkle blue dress underneath.]

I'll just have to skate all by myself.

[Sliding it from her shoulders, there's a pocket of warmth that swallows them up, embracing them both to keep her warm, and she skates away from him, moving towards the edges of the ice where she drops her coat into the snow.]

[flamekthunder]

[Oh, she's trying to play that game is she? However he is much more resilient of the two, and he just smirks a bit as he skates backwards to the inside of the heart.]

Indeed, such a shame. I had a lot more planned, too.

[starshower]

[She is definitely playing that game. But doesn't she just look so majestic, skating around in her cute little dress, the sparkles on it shimmering under the light of the moons? She even does an awkward little spin for him when she knows that he's watching, making the skirt flare out around her before she's moving back towards him.]

Well.

[A little quirk of her lips as she skates past him.]

You should be more careful the next time you capture my heart.

[sdflsjdfsdh she's so embarrassed by how cheesy that was and she's just going to dart away.]

[flamekthunder]

[...

Wow that really was so cheesy that he snorts and laughs—but his eyes never leave her figure as he watches how the dress moves and shimmers around her.]

Yet I'm the one inside that heart. Shouldn't be coming in here?

[starshower]

[Ah, he's got her there. But she isn't going to be lured in that easy.]

What? And make it easy for you?

[... Still not looking at him, because her face is beet red right now.]

You're the one stuck in my heart, not me.

[tifa stop]

[flamekthunder]

[Girl, please.

But here, he'll make it worse.]

And what if I want you in my heart?

[Unlike her, he won't feel or look as embarrassed as he says it all with a straight face.]

[starshower]

[Tifa stops just out of reach and twirls around to look at him, then down at the heart, then up at him.]

You're going to have to try and get me in there first.

[flamekthunder]

And make it so easy? You need to work for it.

[Skating backwards out of reach.]

[starshower]

That's my line.

[And she's just going to propel herself forward, unable to resist any longer. She springs herself at him, skating right into the center of the heart where she catches him with her arms wrapping around him, and even through his coat, he is already so warm...

She has nothing more to say than that, so she simply closes her eyes and breathes him in, holding him close.]

[flamekthunder]

[A laugh as he catches her, spinning them around a bit in place as he hugs her close.]

You really are weak. You didn't last even five minutes.

[starshower]

Can you blame me?

[Her voice is soft and quiet, muffled against his chest before she lifts her head enough to look at him.]

I was getting cold.

[They both know that isn't the reason, but her nose and cheeks are a little bit rosy from the chill, but mostly for being the first one to give in.

... She really is weak.]

[flamekthunder]

[He just smiles warmly as he hugs her closer, as if to spread more of his warmth to her.]

Well...it's a good thing. Was starting to feel a little lonely.

[starshower]

Mm. Me too.

[She stretches up just enough that she can nuzzle her nose into his neck, finding the warmth there the most comforting.]

So, did I pass my test?

[flamekthunder]

Yes.

[He leans down to drop a kiss on the top of her head.]

But could still use some improvement.

[Okay, he's just being a little cheeky there.]

[starshower]

[And before he can get too far away from her, she lifts her face just enough that she can steal a quick peck on the lips.]

Well, how about you teach me the rest before we... go warm up?

[flamekthunder]

[A light grin when she steals that kiss and he'll just steal another.]

Stay close.

[And as he leads her and they skate over the lines of their hearts, their will be a flash of light as the heart outlines begin to glow and shimmer with soft light, as if to help illuminate their way around the ice.]

[starshower]

[A work of his magic, or this world's? A little bit of both? She doesn't know, but she at least hopes that it stays for the winter.]

Shouldn't be too hard.

[Both her hands move in to wrap around his, and though she doesn't need it for her own stability anymore, she's going to do it anyway. And so that he can't escape.]

Just go a little easier on me, yeah? No more chasing tonight.

[flamekthunder]

But I kind of liked being chased.

[A small squeeze of her hand as they more leisurely skate around the ice.]

[starshower]

[She pretends to pout at him, but it fades quickly into an embarrassed, shy smile.]

Well. There are other ways to do it, you know...

[flamekthunder]

Oh? And what ways would that be?

[starshower]

[She brings a finger to her lips, a hint of mischief in her eyes.]

Nothing that I can say out here...

[Not in public!!! Where there is no one and nothing here besides them, but that's just an excuse to not have to say anything.]

[flamekthunder]

[Just a slight arch of the brow before he leans closer to her.]

Not even a hint?

[starshower]

Not even a hint.

[She bumps her shoulder against his and forces them away from each other until they are arm's length apart.]

You'll just have to be patient and wait to see later...

[flamekthunder]

Hmm... I can't force anything out from you, can I?

[And he moves closer, trying to close the gap again...]

[starshower]

[...

Tifa pauses to consider a moment, a finger tapping playfully on her chin.]

Well, if you could convince me, I might reconsider... No promises, though.
