I. Peppered Love
[ It's been a little while since Unnamed encountered the great and mighty Lord of the Goose, but since then he's been making the odd trip to Asura's garden to poke around and say hiwhile giving Lord Swan A VERY HEALTHY BERTH. On this particular occasion he's been gifted a nice little bundle of devil peppers, which he takes with immense delight.
In his head, it works something like this:
Happy feelings = warmth and devil peppers = HOT AF, which = so much love.
So clearly the best way he can show his affection is by giving the people he cares about some aptly-named Devil Peppers.
If you're someone he's seen before, you can bet ur butt that he's going to call out and wave them down...right before he presents them with one of these bad boys ]
Ouuh, auh! Ih--ih!
[ Take it :D IT'S FOR YOU ]
II. Flashcard Signing
[ One thing that Unnamed has been working on since his arrival is how to communicate--because that's hard when you're both deaf and undead. He started first with pictures in the journals, then again with sign language. Experience, however, has armed with the knowledge that not everyone understands Sign, so he's decided that his next step has to be reading and writing all those weird scribbles everyone always fills up their books with.
It has not been easy. His dexterity and fine motor skills are lacking at bestlike ya do when you're not-quite-alive, but help has come to him in the form of The Best Mom Ever and his introduction to.....flashcards. Shigeru has helped him acquire a set marked with both sight words and signs to help him recognize what each word means, and he has been studying them furiously. He's even gone and dreamotion'd a couple of his own into existence with Shigeru's help, so on this fine day Unnamed can be found:
a) pouring over his flashcards as he spreads them out over ground and table alike;
or
b) rushing up to your character with a flashcard with the word 'HELLO' written on it and holding it out with The Most Enthusiasm Ever. ]
Auh!
[ He looks so proud okay, you don't even know ]

Ohhhh, heyyy, you got more of these? [Seeing which he's pointing to, she grins.] Good job! Can I see them?
[She'll point to her eyes, and then the flashcards, wanting to see what words he has in it as she asks about them... hopefully important ones like Featherman, of course!!!]

[ He holds out the deck of them to her. Included are the most common and basic sight words used in conversation--INCLUDING THE WORD 'HERO', WHICH HAS AN IMPRINTED PICTURE OF FEATHERMAN RED.
"Like?" he asks, pointing to her and holding up a corresponding flashcard. Following that are "People", "Sign language", "Understand", followed by a shake of his head to convey that a lot of people don't know sign. That is why he's learning to read! ]

I knew you were a true Featherman! [Ah, right, he can't hear her, but... pen, pen... she probably has one attached to her journal— ah, yep! They have unlimited paper anyway right? Right. Just gonna tear it out and write down what she said.]
Sorry I don't understand Sign Language. I can probably learn if I find a book. [That's written down too, here, as is what she says next.] But we'll have to make you a cool Featherman speech!
[Even cooler would be if he said it in Sign while posing?! Yeah, she'd be so down for that.]

[ Lots of writing!! Futaba writes so fast... He's so envious? He can barely hold a pen let alone scribble a million miles an hour with one. Unnamed can't help but let out a tiny puff of air as he reads--one day, he's going to be awesome at writing like that too!!
no he won't, it is physically impossible for him bc zombieHe holds up the card "what" and points to the word 'speech' where she's written it, looking up at her with excitement. If it involves Featherman it's got to be important!! He needs to know what a 'speech' is ]
no subject
Yeah, a speech! It'll be quicker to show you, I'll write down what I'm saying after. Be prepared to be amazed!
[With a deep breath, she begins her Featherman Red posing, and between each exaggerated movement, she pauses to speak before the next set of poses.]
In the name of justice! To save those who can't save themselves! To help those in need! Featherman Red is on the scene! [Da-duuuun, final pose strike!!!
True to her word, she writes down what she had spoken, adding after:]
The poses are NECESSARY with a heroic Featherman speech.
[Clearly she's the best role model for Unnamed with all she's teaching him.]

His eyes glow with awe.
And also maybe their surroundings a little bit, thanks dreamotion. ]
Ouuhhh....!!
[ TEACH HIM MORE, SENSEI ]

I wonder if you can make words in the air with your dreamotion like that? You know how like airplanes make words? [just casually makin a little doodle of that as she talks and writes] You could have a really flashy Featherman speech like that! We can work on that later, but you gotta have the moves— you got what it takes?!
[...yes, they're doing this right. meow.]

[ he has NO idea what she is going on about, but he is going to NOD ANYWAY. He can see some sort of....crisscross-shaped thing, and some bouncy...words? It's a cool picture! He just doesn't know what an airplane is.
RIGHT MEOW. ]

[Instead of stowing her journal, she'll put it on the ground in between what she needs to say and what she's doing— the first thing is a 'follow my lead' but scribbled after is 'make sure your movements are STRONG'. They have to be intimidating and cool, after all!
With one arm bent in front of her chest, she throws the other one out to the side, hand outstretched.]
Now you!

Auh...!!
