[Now that the residents of Songerein are settling in it seems that a group of uncanny key kids (and a few others) have come together to make a nice little collection of connecting treehouses. The houses are dreamed up and put together with a patchwork of wooden bridges and boards and spruced up with fairy lights that glow and hang from the rafters. The treehouses are high in the canopies of thick trees and the balcony sections are open and breezy for any visitors to come to walk up the steps and see.

Down below the treehouses on the ground seems to be a rather flourishing garden of sunflowers. Where they come from or how they sprouted is still unclear. But it is joined with a rather chubby-looking chicken that pecks at the ground occasionally. Along with the grazing chicken, there seems to be a whoosh of dragonfly wings as a large dragonfly has taken to the treehouse as a home too. And what is this? It seems they might have a small collection of blue birds that won't leave the house alone. What other creatures are out and about?

Dreammotion energy seems to be strong around the treehouses. As the trees house a collection of boys with vivid and wild imaginations. Sometimes lights will flicker brighter or plants will bloom with various strange flowers. And the smell of baking chocolate and cookies is always in the air.]

[Ira is trying to make himself seem friendly and approachable. This is a social call after all. But there is always that aura of seriousness that he can't really get rid of.]

Ah, Ventus. Hello.

I see you have a friend now.

[brokenlight]

Yeah.

[He nods, holding Chirithy in his arms now.

He smiles at Ira.]

Did you come to visit?

[iracorn]

I did. I was, uh, working in the orchards and brought some apples, if you would like them.

I suppose I also have some questions.

[If he is being completely honest.]

[brokenlight]

Sure! I like apples.

[Then he blinks.]

What kind of questions?

[iracorn]

Just a few general ones. Mostly I'm curious how you got this one to show up?

[He indicates the Chirithy, not unkindly.]

[brokenlight]

Oh, I got him through a wishing well.

[Chirithy peers up at Ira.]

[iracorn]

Wishing well? Oh, the one after the last dreamscape?

[brokenlight]

Yeah, that one!

[He nods!]

[iracorn]

I see. So you met him before coming here? But, not in Daybreak Town.

[brokenlight]

I--

[Pause. Then:]

Met him on my home world. He came to me after everything.

[Chirithy looks up at Ventus. Then over at Ira, who seems to be trying to hint toward him not to ask too much.]

[iracorn]

Where is your home world?

[Everything sounds like a loaded word, and Ira can only begin to wonder what Ven's Everything entails, having one himself.

But he'll take Chirithy's advice for now.]

[brokenlight]

The Land of Departure.

[Even if it's not his 'true' home world, it's home to him.

Maybe they should swap stories one day.]

[iracorn]

I can't say I'm familiar with it, but was it a nice place?

[He's assuming so, at least.]

[brokenlight]

It is.

[He nods.]

I hope you get the chance to see it one day.

[iracorn]

I would like that. Truthfully. If there are other worlds out there that keyblade wielders are coming from, I would like to see them all.

I'm very curious now.

[brokenlight]

[Ven smiles at that.]

Well, we don't all come from the same worlds. Sora definitely isn't from the same world, after all.

[iracorn]

That is certainly true. And I suppose a strong heart is really all that's needed.

Though, there was no gathering place for wielders, where you're from?

[brokenlight]

Not...really?

[He looks thoughtful.]

From what I remember, there weren't a lot of us compared to now.

[iracorn]

I see. I'm surprised numbers dwindled so sharply...

[Surely there were still those with strong hearts out in the worlds.]

[brokenlight]

[There are plenty, but well--]

There are a couple of new ones that just joined us during the recent Keyblade War, but probably nothing like the number of wielders you're used to.

[iracorn]

Indeed, it seems quite diminished, though I am glad to hear of new wielders.

[But it's the other part of that statement that gives him pause, and he seems almost hesitant to ask.]

What was the recent Keyblade War?

[brokenlight]

..It was a year ago.

[He looks thoughtful.]

[iracorn]

[Ira tenses. Only a year.]

I see...I'm sorry you had to go through something like that.

[brokenlight]

[He shakes his head at that.]

It's...okay. It was just something that seemed kinda unavoidable, you know?

[Ven tries to go for a smile.]

[iracorn]

Even so, I wish it were not the case. That someone would want to even try is troubling enough.
