[open!] you're only everything I ever dreamed
Who: The Kingdom Hearts cast + You!
Which: Open Log!
Where: The collection of treehouses that the cast has made! And other areas!
What: An open log for residents and adjacent CR to come and go. Top levels inside!
Warnings: tba!
[Now that the residents of Songerein are settling in it seems that a group of uncanny key kids (and a few others) have come together to make a nice little collection of connecting treehouses. The houses are dreamed up and put together with a patchwork of wooden bridges and boards and spruced up with fairy lights that glow and hang from the rafters. The treehouses are high in the canopies of thick trees and the balcony sections are open and breezy for any visitors to come to walk up the steps and see.
Down below the treehouses on the ground seems to be a rather flourishing garden of sunflowers. Where they come from or how they sprouted is still unclear. But it is joined with a rather chubby-looking chicken that pecks at the ground occasionally. Along with the grazing chicken, there seems to be a whoosh of dragonfly wings as a large dragonfly has taken to the treehouse as a home too. And what is this? It seems they might have a small collection of blue birds that won't leave the house alone. What other creatures are out and about?
Dreammotion energy seems to be strong around the treehouses. As the trees house a collection of boys with vivid and wild imaginations. Sometimes lights will flicker brighter or plants will bloom with various strange flowers. And the smell of baking chocolate and cookies is always in the air.]

[It was the sudden increase in temperature that caught his attention at first. It was too hot and Ventus was worried at first…until he learned it was coming from the tree itself.
Ventus isn’t sure how to exactly help it aside from the helpful word of advice from the Fae.
But he’s more alarmed by the fruit.
When he sees a fruit fall, Ventus calls out to whomever is below:]
Watch out!
[B. Dreambucks]
[Despite being here for a while, Ventus has yet to actually see what this ‘Dreambucks’ is all about.
So, naturally, he’s going to go check!]
Have you been here before? What do you like to drink?
[He asks to whomever is in line or in the store, too.
Ventus probably shouldn’t be drinking coffee but…details.]
[C. Chirithy]
[With this being a dream world, there are many different kinds of creatures that like to pop up out of nowhere. Ventus didn’t think too much of it, though he did initially feel the pang of not having Chirithy with him.
…
Until it is.
So, naturally, Ventus just wants to take his little friend around to explore. They can be seen around the shops, though it’s Chirithy who notices you first.
It gives a wave.]

[One of the first things Sora does when he gets settled in is set to doing something he's been looking forward to since becoming a real boy again. And that is eating all of the things that he wasn't able to eat for over a year when he was living in another world as a rabbit-boy. He couldn't eat anything meat-related and even some baked things were iffy on his stomach. After so long of being a vegetarian? All he wants to do is try all the things he used to be able to eat.
The waft of sweet baking chocolate might catch your attention first. Or it might be the waft of something salty in the air. Or something sizzling as it cooks in a pan...? Whatever could Sora be working up in there?]
There! I think I've got it! Once the bacon finishes cooking we can pat them dry and then dip them in the chocolate!
[... He's making chocolate-covered bacon. That is two foods eaten with one stone- or something like that...]
[b. sunflowers]
[Or Sora can be found below the treehouses with all of the sunflowers. He's poking around at them and as he explores a few more of them seem to pop up out of the ground and bloom right behind him. Is it Sora that's making all these sunflowers? They're about to overgrow this section of the ground. There might be a maze here one of these days.]
Where are all these sunflowers coming from anyway?
[Sora hasn't quite gotten used to the idea of dream magic and how his emotions or reactions might affect things around him. He might need some extra practice!]
[c. wildcard]
[Got something else? Feel free to toss it down here! Sora can be found anywhere in the treehouses. Even on the roof.]

[Kor often took it upon himself to take care of the small collection of animals they'd been acquiring at their house. Not because anybody asked him to, or because it was his "assigned chore" to do, but because he liked it. Seaville was a small farming community by the ocean, so it wasn't uncommon for him to help care for some of the animals they kept there. It just seemed natural to him.
He flies up to the treehouse property upon the back of his dragonfly friend, Topaz, who'd chosen to stick around Kor and live near the treehouse even after they'd left the swamps. It sure made taking care of errands in town quick and easy, at least.]
C'mere, Drumstick! It's dinner time!
[He hops off the back of Topaz and heaves a sack of chicken feed he'd slung over his shoulder onto the ground. Excited, the large fowl immediately waddles over and starts furiously pecking at the bag to try and get at its contents without waiting to be fed.]
Ah, h-hey, wait! At least let me open the sack first...!
[B]
[At some point during the day, Kor takes to training nearby. Even though he didn't always have access to his Soma depending on whether he was in a dream realm or not, that just made it all the more important to keep his sword skills sharp.
He draws his sword from the Soma attached to his arm, a glowing golden blade manifesting itself in his hand as if by magic. He dashes forward at lightning speed, sword bared as he rushes towards a striking dummy he'd set up in his mock training grounds. He swings his sword as he charges past it, landing a solid slash on the dummy--]
Haaaah...!
[--And bifurcating it right in two, the twin halves falling to the ground nearly in tandem. Kor turns to look at the fallen target, shocked and displeased by this turn of events.]
Ahh--! Crap, I'm gonna need to get stronger materials for this, i guess... A striking dummy that falls apart after one attack's no good for training, after all.
[C]
[One of the nicest parts about the treehouses sitting high in the canopy is that it gave a clear view of the sky. On clear nights, Kor liked to lie on the rooftop and gaze at the stars until he felt sleepy. (Sometimes, he'd fall asleep there if he wasn't careful.)
The sky surrounding Songerein was unusual to Kor at first. Different, not like his home sky at all. But it didn't fill him with the same loneliness that the sky of Aefenglom did. It was different, but... Not unsettling. There was a strange familiarity to it that he couldn't quite place.]
I wonder... If this is a dream world, are the stars a dream too? Or maybe they're the ones dreaming...
[He doesn't seem to be talking to anybody in particular, musing aloud to himself more than anything.]

[Since the Dreamshift, Ira has kept largely to himself.
It's hard to admit, but the events of that place, and the nightmare he had at the beginning of the month, shook him. The encounter with the Nightmare Chirithy perhaps most of all, when it had morphed into that monstrous form. The fight still plays in his mind, as much as he tries to avoid it. The things it said about Darkness within him have scared him, in a way he doesn't know how to talk about. Or who with really.
This mindset is not exactly conducive to using dreamotion, he's found. He's doing his best to calm his tree, for lack of a better description, but he can't seem to steady himself. Some of the bark looks burnt in the shape of two hands, an obvious attempt gone wrong and Ira himself looks sweaty and bothered.]
What am I doing wrong?
[Harvest Time; An Orchard]
[It's a slightly different Ira that can be found in the orchard one day.
He's set aside his robes for the moment in favour of more manageable work clothes and even removed his mask, finding some of the more elaborate parts difficult to manage up the branches. But the long, blue hair is still visible as he picks fruit from the trees.
It's helped get his mind off of his recent troubles, making him a lot more relaxed than he has been for a while. He's even managing to smile.
At least until he reaches for the same apple as a bold raccoon.]
Hey! Get away from there!
[He tries to wave the raccoon off as the ladder wobbles dangerously.]
[A Visitation?; KH Treehouses]
[Ira stands at what he assumes is front of the Treehouse that Sora and his friends call home. He's dressed in his regular attire and holds a basket of some of the fruit he's gathered. A gift, as it were, for intruding. Because he is curious about these new keyblade wielders, in a number of different ways.
And he would like some answers. Because he cannot wait for Luxu to provide them. And well, one of them has asked to join his Union, and the possibility of training new wielders is a nice one.
He's just. Not sure how to proceed.]

[ Vanitas can be found lounging on one of the communal decks. It likely looks unusual for anyone that really has met Vanitas or has some idea about how he is or how he behaves. Honestly, he looks pretty relaxed. On his lap is a furry little creature that seems pretty content to stay where it is.
The boy is literally just petting it. It's a rather cute scene, right? Or maybe not. There are several Prize Pods floating around. They look pretty ominous looking, right?
Whatever the case, Vanitas himself doesn't really seem too bothered. ]
( B: One Step Back )
[ There's a plant set out on the countertop. Just a regular old plant that looks a little droopy. Like it's seen some better days. Van's hands hover over it and there's a look of concentration on his features. ]
Come on... Come on.
[ But nothing happens. Nothing happens at all. Whatever Vanitas had expected to happen, doesn't. With a growl of frustration, he clears the countertop with his hands. The plot and pot fly against the wall. Shattering. ]
Argh!
( C: Unversed )
[ As always, Vanitas produces creatures that are from his negative emotions. There is no stopping it. It's inevitable. His fledgling emotions purged from his own heart that return when they are destroyed or when he calls them back. Trying to contain them is just as painful as it is expelling them.
However, they do have something of a mind of their own. Or is it instinct? As they are an extension of Vanitas himself, they do tend to meander off and do their own thing.
Which means don't be surprised if one of his Floods comes out of nowhere to scare an innocent bystander. Or slithering up an arm and stealing whatever it is you might be holding.
It's just how these things work. ]

[ They've really come up with something special, haven't they?
Although Naminé's elected to situate her own home a small ways down the road from this particular treehouse - naturally seeking privacy she wouldn't have thought about needing before - she still feels a certain fondness for the area as she lingers by the flowers, face upturned toward the structure above. The place has such a lively air, and she's smiling as she lifts an arm to shade her eyes against what sunlight is able to filter through the trees.
You'd think the sunhat would block enough of it. She's clothed for the outdoors, in point of fact, if a dress and sandals ever qualify as such; the subtle dusting pink on her shoulders and cheeks suggests she's already been there for a while, and the basket of freshly-harvested produce she has one arm tucked through at her side might let on what she's been doing.
Whether she happens across anyone while she's appreciating the scenery is of little matter; soon enough she's knocking on doors instead, quietly doing the rounds in hopes of sharing some of the benefits of her own hard work. ]
[ B. And a Little Mischief ]
[ -- Until she spots a squirrel, that is.
That's not such a strange sight, considering that they are in a tree. But what makes Naminé stop in her tracks on one of the pathways in the massive treehouse is the fact that the rodent in question has something unusual in its tiny, thieving grasp when it freezes in place, nose twitching at her. Furrowing her brow, the blonde squints the creature's direction a moment, trying to determine what, exactly...
And there it goes, darting off just as she realizes that that's probably not an item that should be in the squirrel's possession. Who it belongs to, she doesn't know - but that won't stop her from giving chase when something's clearly amiss, here. ]
Hey--! Come back!
[ It's pretty awkward trying to run after the small creature with a basket on one arm, but Naminé's certainly making an effort. ]

[The little bauble they had all been given had been intriguing to Roxas, and so he had thrown it in the wishing well with a particular thought in mind. And he was delighted to find that, after making his wish, he was granted the skateboard that he had been so fond of in Twilight Town. And naturally, now that he has it, he wants to take it for a test ride.]
[There isn't much in the way of smooth streets or paved roads here in the forest, but Roxas does eventually find a smooth, wooden platform outside the treehouses where he can ride smoothly. He can be found out here practicing with it, getting used to the object once more and even practicing a few kickflips. What can he say, he's a city-kid at heart.]
B - At Dusk, I Will Think Of You
[There's a little tradition Roxas has taken part in, one that's stuck with him no matter what world he's ended up in. Ever since Axel had brought him up to the top of the Twilight Town clock tower, Roxas has made it a habit to find a high place to sit and watch the sunset. He kept that habit up in Aefenglom, and he intends to keep it up here, too.]
[Whether you just happen to look up around dusk, or happen to hear the scrambling of footfalls on the nearby balcony or roof, one only needs to look up to find Roxas climbing his way up the rooftop of the highest treehouse. Once he gets there, he'll settle in on the pointed roof, relaxing as he watches the sunset. The view isn't the same as Twilight Town, but it's not too bad.]
[People are welcome to join him up here, or ask him what the heck he's doing on the roof.]
