[ Shigeru is...gone, now. Unnamed understands that. He misses him a lot (a lot), but he doesn't think that Shigeru would want him to sit around moping about it day in and day out. Shigeru liked to help him--has helped him, and now that he's feeling a little more confident about it, Unnamed decides that it's time to start this day off with something helpful. Something good. ]

[ And just like he says, Unnamed is sitting and waiting in the main plaza near a fountain, his journal propped up against its side with the words "SIGN LANGUAGE" printed in large font. He's hoping one or two people will at least show up, but that isn't necessary to interact with him. If he sees someone he knows he'll lift a hand to wave and come to greet them.
A lot of people he knows have gone home recently okay he needs to make sure you don't go anywhere either ;w; ]

I also have a friend who calls me "Loops" — because of these.
[ She uses her pen like a wand, gently tracing one of the loops making up her hair. ]

[ "Loops" is a new word! He makes sure to make a mental note about it for later, awed by the way her hair is done up now that his attention is drawn to it. He thought it was just a ponytail--he didn't realizes it was hooked around like that.

[ Though, without even waiting for him to agree, she's already moving to undo one of her loops. ]

Once she's done with the first, she'll allow him to help with the second. ]

[ OH HE GETS TO HELP, Susatooooo--he's never helped anyone with their hair before. He's a little apprehensive, a little excited, and very careful in the way he tries to mimic the steps she's shown him to help with the second loop. His fine motor skills aren't the best so there are times he's a little clumsy, but he does his best to help her pin the second loop up.
Regardless of the aesthetic outcome, he still holds his journal up to her afterwards with a bright: ]

[ There is a thoughtful pause. The grin fades as she tries to remember, but then she finally puts a hand over her mouth, letting it fall forward toward him. ]

"You're welcome!" He can't sign back to her fast enough; it's clear that just that is enough to make him very, very happy. ]

Oof. Susato is a Neat Freak to a high degree, so she really wouldn't like the sounds of that. Perhaps she would have gotten along better with Shigeru than she expected. They won't find out...maybe not "ever," but at least for a while. ]

[ He'll probably take over from here. Susato makes herself comfortable and inquires after more words and phrases that he thinks should be important. She'll be taking notes as well! ]
