1 - Putting the Dreamotion into Motion

It had been a little more than a month since Flowey arrived and a little more than a month since he's learned about the existence of Dreamotion. His talk with Ira didn't really push him in the right direction, or any direction at all, really. Emotions are tied to Dreamotion, he was told. Unfortunately, he lacks more than just the phone and flashlight that were on him before he arrived to this dreamworld.

So a certain flower definitely will make his face present at the music studio on Sunday, popping out of the ground and calling out to the nearest person.

"Excuse me? Is this the place to learn more about Dreamotion?" Flowey asks with an inquisitive yet somewhat pleading tone.

2 - Gnome Ohm Homes

It may be your house, it may be your office or your restaurant, it may even be your library or private museum, but they're there. Who are "they"? Why, gnomes, of course! And a Flower. If it's early on during the month, Flowey will be a little stunned upon seeing someone occupying the house, remarking that they thought it was empty at the time. If it's near the end of the month, the flower just basically ignores you and goes straight to work as he's learned the gnomes are extremely stubborn. And determined.

Determination is a trait he likes very, very much, and he's determined to help with all the basic electricity infrastructure installation.

Unfortunately, the owner of the building or their friends or coworkers may have some very different opinions.

3 - Setting Up Shop

Shops come in all forms. From groceries to art supplies to restaurants to clothes stores, you can find a huge plethora of things to fit your needs. However, one shop seems to be new. "Puzzled", it says. Upon entering, a flower with a face seems to be manning the register... where worker-side there's a platform with a solid slope connected to the ground. The flower greets you and says he hopes you find a good puzzle to your liking.

[It's break time for Leo! He's been busting his demigod butt trying to get his workshop going and prep to actually build this new ship. Normally he would work constantly without stopping until someone made him, but Festus is very hard to ignore when he wants to explore and fly around.

Most of the shops they pass, he's like whatever, and keeps going, but he raises an eyebrow when he spots the shop "Puzzled". He calls for Festus, who quickly flies back to him and proceeds to perch around his shoulders (and looks way too big to be there but Leo doesn't seem to be struggling to hold him up too badly) and takes a peak inside.

And he's enamored. Puzzles are everywhere, but not boring jigsaws, puzzle boxes. Gears and levers and hidden moving pieces galore! He thought he was in heaven until he realized it was all wood.

Bleh. He had no power over wood.]

Yo, you got any metal boxes-- [He turns to the shopkeeper to ask, but then freezes at the sight of a literal flower. A flower with a face.

Hang on, he's gotta process this for a sec.]

[Flowey just stares silently, smile on his face, for a couple moments. Then he summons a vine and has it wave.]

Unfortunately, none yet. A shame, really, as I would love for metals to be easily forged. Like tiny screws. I mean, sure I can make things bigger, but a 40 pound puzzle box would quickly be tiring. No plastics or silicons, either. All I got to work with is wood and glass so far.

So! Need any reccommendations?

[Okay, the shock of the talking flower is quickly passing. Leo's seen so many weird things as a demigod, he's honestly not sure why anything surprises him anymore.]

Uh--- [He shakes his head, picking up a rubik's cube and twisting it absently.]

Actually, I might can get you some metal? I've been setting up a forge over by the river. Metal is easy for me. In exchange, can you make some of these puzzle boxes out of it?

[Flowey wasn't intending to barter today. Those plans quickly flew out of the window when faced with the prospect of herring his vines on metal.]

A forge, you say...?

[The Rubick's Cube turns surprisingly easy and seems surprisingly sturdy despite being made out of wood.]

Golly, looks like I found a nice business partner! Though I won't replicate THESE puzzle boxes with metal. I actually have other ideas for metal ones.

[Flowey disappears into the ground, only to reappear seconds later with a quill and paper. He spends a few moments drawing a rough sketch of a new puzzle box using his vines.]

[Honestly, Leo isn't even thinking about the rubik's cube, his hands just twisting and turning it without a single thought. That's how it always was with little metal bits and screws he played with. His hands would build something random, as if on autopilot, and now was no different.

But when Flowey brings out the rough sketch of a new puzzle box, he freezes, eyes wide.]

It's beautiful.

I've had thousands of years of practice and being entrenched in a culture where puzzles are everywhere. That's monster culture for you!

I thought donuts were monster culture.

[Sorry Flowey, that will make zero since to you. But Monster Donuts is a very popular monster enterprise in his world.]

The hell is that supposed to mean? There aren't any donut monsters.

You know? Like Monster Donuts? Isn't that like the Big Thing for monsters?

[They're literally everywhere, he just didn't know they were run by monsters until after he found out he was a demigod.]

I mean I've heard of Spider Donuts, which mare made with spiders. But I don't think monsters want to eat donuts made of other monsters. Besides, dust tastes bad.

No, I'm pretty sure they're just regular donuts. Just made by and for monsters. It's a whole brand. Ya'll don't have those I take it?

[He's seen about a gazillion of them around.]

I mean. Aren't those just regular donuts then? I've never heard of anyone calling them monster donuts.

I don't even think humans with their physical donuts call them that back in my timeline.

No, no! It's a brand. Like, that's the shop's name. But it's run by monsters and monsters go there all the time. I mean, I guess I can't blame them. Who doesn't love donuts?

[He honestly has no idea how it started, it's just A Thing. He didn't even know it was a monster thing until like a year ago.]
