MIRROR MIRROR

With the sleepwalking curse over, everyone will have some time to rest and recuperate—until Jack Frost comes barging in with news of a clue on how to help his beloved Ice Queen who still remains asleep. The clue was the mirror shard that was in her chest, and there are theories that it may have been a fragment of a much stronger, powerful mirror she had been given some time ago. Problem is, he can't find it nor can he remember who gave it to her. He does, however, have a magic incantation that will allow people to enter mirrors and hopefully find a trace. Unfortunately, this horrendously backfires and we have mirror chaos instead. Dammit, Jack.

I. REVEREIN

It all begins in Reverein, where there's a strange shift in the air upon Jack's attempt to cast the spell. But instead of affecting just one mirror, it reflects off the surface and spreads out to the entire town, hitting every reflective surface instead. Ripples can be seen before the surfaces still, but it's too late. Every reflective surface—glass, mirror, window—is under a different effect because of the botched spell.

And some are being unwittingly pulled into them.

Fortunately It is possible to communicate and even watch people from the other side of the mirror, but it's only through certain mirrors and at certain times. It also will be temporary, so while one mirror might work one time, it may not work again.

A. Strange Reflections. While some mirrors may still reflect proper images, many will have…unusual changes.

🪞 You are what you see. Whether it's an odd hairstyle, change in skin color, or style of clothing in the reflection, suddenly the viewer will look exactly like what's reflected. The most extreme is a different form entirely.
🏡 Glimpses of home. Everyone will have a rare glimpse of their home world, and these can be instances from the past, present, or even a limited future. They are just reflections and cannot be interacted with, and future reflections may be blurry to prevent the person from seeing too much. For those who have memory issues, such visions will also be blurry, but perhaps they can help stir some things…
🔮 Most desired. Mirrors that have a bit of a pink hue to them will reflect the viewer's most desired "thing." It could be an object, person, place, or even a general idea. However, if not careful the viewer may become trapped in a trance and will need to be removed or smash the mirror.

B. Clone Wars. Mirrors that do not show any kind of reflection are to be quickly taken away and covered as it will begin to create duplicates in Reverein of what is reflected within it. Yes, even people, and they will be very obviously fake: wrong colors, different voices, odd behavior, etc. and will usually be harmless. These "clones" will continue to appear and multiply until the mirror has been covered, and will need to either be destroyed or captured and shoved into the mirror, where it will lose its "no reflection" status and become a proper mirror again…only for them to appear on the other side in Mirror World.

C. Mirrorsnatched. A mirror with a black rim has the chance of absorbing a significant personality trait or memory of the one looking into it, and when this happens, the person will walk away feeling very muddle-headed and off. The mirror will "keep" this part of the person and someone from the Mirror World side must find their essence and "shove" it back out onto any mirror surface so that the original owner can break the mirror and retrieve it. The downside of this method is that breaking a mirror means one less mirror those on the Mirror side can use, so they need to choose carefully.

D. The Unknown. Appearing in both the Mirror World and Reverein will be a strange mirror masked, black cloaked figure called "The Unknown." It traverses through the mirrors and through the walls, seeking those with happy reflections and will try to corrupt them with nightmares. People on both sides of the mirrors will be able to confront and try to stop the Unknown, though beware its chocolate attacks.

II. MIRROR WORLD

Everything in this "Mirror World" is, in a word, chaotic. Imagine an AI-generated monstrosity based off of Picasso, Escher, and Dr. Seuss, where everything seems to be upside down, backwards, colors everywhere and nowhere, and everything feels so fragmented that one step feels like walking towards the edge of a cliff. In a way it's nightmarish in an unusual sense, and those inside can feel that touch of "madness" that seeps through the cold air.

Beware the strange creatures in the Mirror World. They are grotesque monstrosities, many of them looking as if they were stitched together from different parts. Fortunately they are susceptible to weapons and dreamotion and those inside the Mirror World will find they are able to use different abilities, especially those with reflective properties.

A. Fragment of their old self. In order to get out of the Mirror World, those inside will need to catch a small fragment of themselves that has escaped and is running around. This fragment is actually a piece of their old self prior to arriving in Songerein. For some, this self may not be so different, but for long-time residents, they may seem a lot more different. To make things more interesting, this self can be from any point of the character's past. It just has to be a version of the character from before entering Songerein. This version will also appear "homesick" and "want" to return to their original home, regardless if the character actually feels that way. Thus the fragment will seek out mirrors that will reflect anything of their home world. Shattering these mirrors will weaken the fragment until it can be caught. But that's only half the challenge. If the fragment is injured, the original will also feel the damage but to a lesser degree. If the fragment is destroyed, then the original will be "knocked out" for a few seconds before a new fragment appears. However, this fragment will be much more distorted and worse than the one before.

B. Distorted Memories. At random points while traversing, characters may come across strange pockets of the world that they will feel drawn to. Following said instinct will lead them to a shifted landscape that will reflect images of home from different points in time (past, present, maybe even future) as if they've just walked right into it, but just like everything else, they are distorted. The changes can be as subtle as the wrong color of clothes, having too many limbs, to something major like the sky now being the ground. The only way out will either be destroying the anomalies or correcting them, and they will be rewarded with a mirror shard that will aid in their escape.

C. Warped Sense of Self. The longer a person stays within the Mirror World, the less "coherent" they will feel, and sometimes sound. Their memories will slowly become more disjointed, their personality feeling a bit "off", and they may even forget who they are or where they are from. Even their physical selves will start to twist and change, starting with something subtle (e.g. eye color) and then growing more drastic as time goes on (where did those extra fingers come from? Or why are they suddenly much shorter?) Finding those reflections of home will help with these anomalies, but those weak of heart be warned: the distortions may only exacerbate the issue and make them believe that they are the truth instead. Help anyone who might be caught in fixing these so that they can recover.

D. Finding an exit. To leave the world, those inside must find a mirror that will connect back to Reverein, and those on the other side can also try to help by posing as "anchors" for those inside to recognize. Otherwise, there are many mirrors in the Mirror World that will lead to different places within Songerein—presumably. However, perhaps due to the magic or needing something else, they will be unable to pass through any mirrors that are not connected to Reverein. This is where players have the fun opportunity to make up whatever kind of location or place the characters may see reflected on the mirrors. They could be existing locations in the game, or new ones that could be explored in the future. One unique place we can mention will be reflections of a city covered in night.

Only upon finding a mirror that leads back to Reverein, but they will also need help from the outside. Someone from within Reverein must also be there to physically reach in and pull them out—while hopefully not accidentally be pulled in themselves.

But he's not about to be a huge brat about the mirrors anymore when she's so flustered by everything that's going on. Clearly it's bothering her more than it is him. For now, at least. He's not quite sure what to do to assuage her nerves over cheating on him with himself.

........on that note, if he were to get some relief with one of the others, would it be masturbation or sex? Selfcest? He almost wants to ask her opinion, but even someone as dense as him knows this neither the time nor place. Naughty Yato Thoughts can wait.

With her clinging onto him, his hands find her shoulders and gentle rub them, hoping to calm her down. It's probably futile until he can convince her she hasn't spoiled their precious first love, but they'll get there, he's sure of it.]

Hiyori~ It's fine, it's fine! I'm not mad or anything...

[Although with her sobs it might be hard to tell that it's gone quieter outside the door, especially when Yato is fixated on Hiyori and Hiyori alone. He doesn't give a damn what the rest of his selves do when she's so distressed. They can wait their fucking turn.

With brows knitted together, he starts to lean in with the intention of kissing her tears away, only to be stopped by both hands, muffling him with a disgruntled huff.]

It's me, I promise! How can I make you believe me?

[He gives a full-fledged pout under her hands, trying gently to pry them away without forcing the issue. At least let him talk, sheesh...]

[ YATO. THIS IS SO NOT THE TIME TO BE HAVING NAUGHTY YATO THOUGHTS (TM) ABOUT THE PRINCIPLES OF FUCKING YOURSELF. PLEASE. YOU IDIOT GOD.

shouldn't he be mad?! if it were her, she would be mad. hiyori clones or otherwise. just watching him not!kiss bishamon that one time left her with a strange and hot feeling in her stomach and wanting to avoid him at all costs. and that was even BEFORE...!! before now.

looking miserable, she lets him pull her hands away from his face so that he can talk. ]

I-I don't know. [ this yato approaching her quietly while the others are busy squabbling is something he would know could be the only way to get her to let her guard down and open her door. ]

Even if he were jealous (which he is just a bit, since he hasn't gotten to smooch her yet...!), he wouldn't blame her for kissing his other selves. She had no way to know what shenanigans were going on until it was too late.

His heart breaks a bit at how down Hiyori looks, so he takes her hands and brings them to his lips, letting them just barely brush over her skin. Letting her know he still loves her even if his other selves compromised her innocence to a degree.

Tilting his head sideways a little, he lets out a thoughtful hum.]

Usually they ask a question only the real person would know. Or-- [Er, nope. Can't do that. Not even gonna bring it up.] I guess that'd be the easiest way. Unless they have my memories, too... Never thought to ask them that.

It's up to you, Hiyori. If you don't feel comfortable believing that I'm me, then... I'll go. I'll shoo the rest of them out of the house for a bit so you can have some space. Okay?

... well, there's no way to know about the shenanigans but if she thinks back on it? one of the yato was blond. that should've been a clue. okay, so, that one isn't real. the golden-eyed one probably isn't real either. one was in formal clothes and that's weird. even stranger, she could swear one was in military (???) clothes. yato is way too carefree to do something like that. it's too much like bishamon's uniform as well.

that's four out. how many are there?

their position is very much like it was at capyper land. she reacts similarly, too, eyes going wide as he speaks against her sensitive fingers. ]

N-no. Don't go. [ a bunch of yato having free reign of reverein? shudders. they'll cause so much trouble. ]

I... was surprised. [ UNDERSTATEMENT!!! ] And... [ she rubs at her mouth, conflicted. they're yato but not and they kissed her. yato says it's fine but it DOESN'T FEEL FINE. would some other girl be really happy about multiple versions of her boyfriend?!

the original is the best, though. ]

I believe you. [ slowly, her hand lowers from her mouth. a small smile tugs at her lips. ] You haven't tried to steal one from me like the others did. Yato always waits until I give him the go-ahead before he kisses me, so... it's you.

[There was a couple more without such obvious tells, but she's right about one thing: Yato has thus far been very good about respecting her space and autonomy. It's unusual for him, but since they confessed, he's been on his best behavior to be not just the doting, overly affectionate God of Fortune for her, but a proper boyfriend. Someone she can trust and put her faith in, unerringly.

That's why it sets his heart aflutter when she opts to have him stay, bringing a warm smile to his face. It may be identical to all those out in the other room, but this Yato sports a kind of soft innocence. A puppy dog stance to happiness that's easily pleased. And relieved when his ~~mistress~~ love wants him near.]

M'kay. [Had to twist his arm there.]

Well, yeah, that's kind of obvious. You had this dumbstruck look on your face and I swear you went several shades paler. I was worried you were gonna pass out for a moment!

[One of his hands comes up to also gently rub over her lips, hoping to wipe away any lingering feelings of violation she might feel. Heavens, he hopes she doesn't, though... He'd never desire that for her. It just... hadn't even occurred to him as a possibility when he let the others wander about the house. And it didn't seem fair to tell the to just park it and do nothing.

Not that he expected them to go kissing her, either. But he should have expected as much. They are him, after all. And he is nothing if not filled with love for Hiyori. It's that love that keeps him respecting her and her space. ...er. For the most part. He's trying, okay!!]

Hehe. True that! Can I at least kiss your forehead now? As an apology for springing the multiple mes on you? I am really sorry about that...

[He leans in closer, waiting for permission before closing the distance between them to carry out his apology.]

[ DUMBSTRUCK?!

actually, yeah, she felt pretty dumb. nor is he wrong about her nearly passing out in shock once she got to her room and slid down her door to sit on the ground. while distracted by the memory, she isn't prepared for yato's fingers to rub her lips and she jolts in shock, sucking in a breath of nervousness.

... those eyes look so guilty. so sad. even if he might be trying to smile through it for her. is he rubbing because the clones' lips have touched her, too? is he rubbing it away because he's disgusted with her? ]

I-it's not your fault. It's Songerein. [ partially, maybe. they're him, but not. it's all so confusing and she feels terrible for getting kissed by someone else. by clones who stole his face. at least it's not as bad as fujisaki kissing her. as yato bursting into her room, demanding to know if she DID kiss him. it was none of his business, then. all she could do was pull up a picture of him kissing bishamon to get back at him.

maybe if he hadn't teased her it was CHEATING when she was so EMOTIONAL. it's all she can think about. ]

I wouldn't have let them kiss me if I knew, Yato! I only want to kiss you!! I've only ever wanted to kiss you!!

clones definitely heard that. everyone in the vicinity heard that. ]

[What is nothing more than surprise and nerves, he takes as revulsion, hurriedly removing his hand from her mouth with a blush to rival hers. Perhaps it came across as him literally rubbing it in that she'd kissed other people, even if they were him in a manner of speaking. He had no idea shit would get so damn complicated so quickly when he let those guys stay.

Now it's seeming like a totally bad idea. But it's a little late for remorse now. All he can do is work hard to repair whatever damage has been done, and to prevent any more from occurring. But how? How does he make her feel better about this...? The romantic, pop culture side of him says "kiss her." The side that's grown more wise and sensible says "no you idiot!" But it doesn't have any other ideas to offer, the useless side.]

Still...

[He's entirely convinced and it shows. His shoulders sag until he looks like he's going to outright wilt. And he pretty much does as she continues, getting emotional and worked up to the point she's shouting. He doesn't give a damn if anyone hears, clones or not. He just wants her to be happy, dammit...!]

I told you it's fine, Hiyori...! Please... If kissing me is what you wanted, then kiss me! Don't let those dumbasses spoil things for us so soon--!

[Unfortunately there's a knock on the door right then - or more like a symphony of knocks as the group of Yatos all squeeze themselves in front of Hiyori's door to check on her.]

You okay, Hiyori?

Anything you need?

Is someone bothering you in there?

[At hearing his voice ring out multiple times in quick succession, Yato twitches and whirls on the door, putting an arm out in front of Hiyori as though to shield her from the onslaught of conversation.]

All of you all, shut up and go away! We're trying to have a moment here!!

[That causes quite the stir on the other side of the door, with protests and whines and grumbles, and one exasperated moan.]

[ it's not fine! it's not his fault, but it's not her fault either. kissing him won't fix anything. his wise and sensible side is right. but so is the yato that's speaking. he called his clones dumbasses--

they're right outside the door.

hiyori seizes up and quickly ducks behind yato just as he puts an arm out in front of her. they all sound just like him. they all sound worried in his voice. they all protest and whine and grumble the same. that exasperated moan sounds like yato, too.

after this, she won't stop yato if he decides to get rid of the mirrors. this sucks.

ugh, no. that's not the way to handle this! that's a coward's way out and she told yato as much!! so is hiding behind someone else. taking a deep breath, and pushing yato's arm out of the way, she walks to her door to unlock it and pulls it open.

she looks serious. ]

I have a question for all of you.

[It's nobody's fault, which should make it fine in his mind, but then again, it's Hiyori who had kisses stolen from her by doppelgangers of her boyfriend. It's not his place to say whether things are alright or not. He just wishes it was alright. For her sake.

But it's not going to be okay until they sort things out with his doubles. However the hell they do that.

Bristling at how upset Hiyori seems to be by the presence of his other selves, Yato's eyes narrow dangerously at the door while his mind reels through ways of getting rid of them. If it's anything like last time, they need to be shoved back into a mirror. That might be hard to do with the size of the bathroom.

For now, though, what matters most is making sure Hiyori doesn't feel threatened or overwhelmed by everything. He opens his mouth to tell the group of himself to piss off for now, but before he can, Hiyori is striding forward to face them herself.

The group on the other side almost tumbles in, having been bunched up against the door, but thankfully the one in military dress stands firm and holds the rest back. Her expression is enough to silence them all until they're addressed, at which point she's answered with a stereo of:]

Yes?

[At which Yato himself cringes. Ugh. He's starting to understand why she's so bothered... It's getting annoying and is pretty damn disconcerting on top of it.]

[ faced with multiple yatos looking at her expectantly, it's not unlike a funhouse of mirrors. they're not perfect reflections of the original and, looking upon them now, she's disappointed in herself for not catching it earlier. they're so very different from her y-- f-from the real yato.

there is no cringing from hiyori where yato does. not this time. as disorienting as a funhouse of mirrors might be, she keeps her feet planted and her expression determined. ]

What are all of you doing here? Did you come out of the mirror only to cause trouble? For Yato?!

[ just as she heard his last doppelganger did. just as anything that has to do with mirrors does. ]

[The greatest difference between a funhouse and these clones is how animated they all are. When Hiyori poses her bevy of questions, they all start talking at once:]

Yes~

Shut it, you! Speak for yourself.

I don't have an answer, really.

We kinda just... showed up, to be honest.

[All the other Yatos swivel around to stare at the blasphemous traitor: the blond one who gives off a childish air as he looks from face to face.]

[Original!Yato slaps a hand over his face with a heavy sigh. He has an idea of what's up with some of his clones, at least.]

That one shouldn't be too much of a problem.

[ hiyori closes her eyes and does her best to be patient as they throw their answers and keep bickering amongst themselves. even blond yato saying he'll pass on hiyori (BEST GIRL HIYORI) doesn't cause so much as a twitch.

that one didn't kiss her. she would have FOR SURE asked about the blond hair. hard to miss. ]

If that's your reason for being here, I can't be with any of you. I-I'm already with... I love Yato. This one. [ POINTS AT OG YATO BEHIND HER WITH A BRIGHT RED FACE. this is so embarrassing. things she never had to do in her lifetime: scold a gaggle of clones with yato's face.]

And I'd like an apology! From all of you that kissed me! Don't kiss people that are spoken for, it's wrong!!

[For what it's worth, the arguing stops as Hiyori proclaims herself solely for original!Yato. A collective whimper of disappointment runs through the group of them like a wave, shoulders sagging and eyes tearing up. Save for Mr. Stoic Military Yato, who simply frowns deeper. Spoilsport, that one.]

But I'm Yato, too!

Hiyori, please...!

[The begging Yatos try to push past the one barricading the door to no avail, instead opting to reach for Hiyori like clingy children. At least until she gets serious and demands apologies. That gets them looking chastised and guilty. There's a fair bit of mumbling and shuffling as they seem to debate on whether or not to admit it was them that took things too far.

Then, almost as one, they start piping up sadly.]

Sorry, Hiyori...

I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable...

I didn't think it'd be a problem...

[Meanwhile, regular Yato takes the opportunity to slide his arms around Hiyori's waist, resting his chin on her shoulder and sticking his tongue out at his selves. Nyeh~]

[ she WILL NOT be swayed by those whimpers. nor those tears. if the clones have yato's memories, they'll realize she's stubborn and hard-headed when she wants to be -- when it matters.

they may look a bit like yato, act like him, and sound like him but they're not.

BUT AS LONG AS THEY BEHAVE THEMSELVES... she doesn't have TOO much of a problem with them, like, hanging out.

especially when the apology seems to mollify her slightly. her shoulders sag as, one after another, the yatos reflect on their mistake. although the one suddenly putting his arms around her makes her gasp slightly, she doesn't shove him away and just sighs.

"I didn't think it'd be a problem..." ]

W-well, it's cheating so... [ she is no CHEATER. SHE LOYAL, DJ KHALED. ] A-anyway. Lean this way.

[ when they do, she gives each a head pat. one by one. ]

No hard feelings, okay?

[They do indeed possess his memories up to the point they were created, hence their attempts at swaying her go on for a little longer before tapering off into pathetic whimpers, sighs, and more mumbled apologies.

None of them want to upset her, even if they are jealous of their original self getting to be the one clinging to the object of their affections. So unfair...!]

We just wanna be loved, too.

[That last bit is muttered sadly as they all obey, even the one in military dress. Whatever's going to happen, he doesn't want to miss out on it even if he is the sensible one.

Thankfully the pat on the head seems to please them all immensely, earning bright smiles. Although the one belonging to Yato with gold eyes widens into a grin as he grasps Hiyori's hand in both his own.]

I know! Make a Hiyori for each of us!

[Suddenly there's cheers from (almost) all the rest of them and they start glomming onto her, trying to encourage her to forward out of the room. A couple grab her by the arms while another pair pries a stunned Yato from around her waist as he starts protesting loudly.]

HEY!! No way! Get the hell off her, you creeps! ---Hiyori!

[ life is unfair, yato gang.

some of hiyori's stalwart obstinance wavers at the yato mentioning they want to be loved. that sounds like yato, alright. what's really unfair? hearing yato's voice say that when SHE DOES LOVE-- SHE CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE NOW, YATO #4!!! i-it's cheating. yatoriginal said so. and if he considers it cheating, she won't do it. besides it's not as though she doesn't? love them? in a way. head patting seems to have done the trick, however, and she smiles back at first. ]

there is some sense in creating a hiyori for each yato, though? no? no, the house is going to get SO CROWDED and NOISY. she doesn't want to be cloned!! somehow, she avoided it every time?!

(the irony of yato calling himself a creep, too) ]

Y-Yato!!

[ reaching back, hiyori stretches out her fingers behind her. ]

[Don't they know it. They all share the same father, after all...

But this seems like such an easy fix to a tricky problem: a Hiyori for every Yato. Hmm. Sounds like a children's book almost. Maybe they could make it into one and earn some money on the side--

Nope, gotta deal with the issue at hand - i.e. the gaggle of Yatos hoisting their beloved human above their heads, tossing her lightly and cheering her name as they start to carry her to the bathroom. The only hesitant one of the group being Mr. Military, though his protests fall on deaf ears; they're too full of excitement (and love) to heed his warnings.

Meanwhile Yato himself struggles to extricate himself from the grasp of... well, himself. Selves. Whatever! Point is, he's fighting like hell, but it's two against one. Suddenly this really sucks major ass.]

Lemme go, you halfwit fakes! And let Hiyori go, too! You can't just do what you want with her, damn it! She's her own person!

[The chants of "Hiyori! Hiyori!" only get louder to drown him out as they turn to march her towards the mirror.

Except their path is abruptly blocked by the blond Yato emerging from the bathroom, who whips a slipper across the faces of the first two holding Hiyori, flooring them instantly.]

Would you guys knock it off?! Put Hiyori down right now! And stop yelling! You're too loud!

[Blond!Yato catches Hiyori in his arms as she slides forward out of the other two Yatos' grips when they gently set her down. Back in her bedroom, the final two Yato clones release their hold on the original, who, after smacking the pair on the back of their heads, stomps forward. The Yatos on the floor get unceremoniously stepped on, then he's there beside Hiyori again, holding her around the shoulders protectively.]

New rule! Anyone who badgers Hiyori gets chucked back in the mirror, got it?!

[ WHY IS SHE BEING TOSSED LIKE SHE JUST WON THE GAME?!?

you know, after this, she doesn't know if she would fight yato about getting rid of the mirrors if he tried again. while they toss her (hip hip hiyori!!) she tilts her head back and witnesses his struggle, too.

listens to him fight for her. a rush of emotion hits her, but she fights back the tide once they round the corner and her yato disappears. the bathroom is right behind that door and they would've reached it too if it weren't for those meddling ki--

if it weren't for yukine!yato. that's who she's immediately reminded of when the slipper comes out, with the blonde hair, and he catches her in his arms while telling everyone else off. stunned, she clings to this one. he's even the one that said "no thanks!"

and then she is sandwiched. between them both.

At least this is a (mostly) peaceful demonstration of their love?? If completely absurd and a slight violation of her independence. [Original!Yato ruffles his other self's hair and tucks his face into the other side of Hiyori's neck, making for an even more intimate threesome. He's yet to notice just how flustered she is from this angle.]

A him who's very much on equal footing with Hiyori in the flustered department. He doesn't seem to know what to do with all the praise or the notion of going all yakuza on his fellow doubles. Leaning back, he watches Hiyori beam at him, face growing brighter by the moment... Until he makes a break for the kitchen, shouting an apology over his shoulder.]

[That gets Yato lifting his head to watch the blonde depart with a puzzled look. Damn, sometimes he can't even understand himself.]

His abused heart wouldn't be able to take such a rejection, that much he knows. He's too pathetically weak for it.

At her addition, he opens his mouth to protest, then follows her gaze to the group watching them with pointed interest. One of them waves, another sticks their tongue out at Yato himself, a third discreetly gives him the finger, while a fourth shrugs in defeat. Mr. Military sighs, stepping out from behind the rest.]

he shouldn't be offended she called him weird because it WAS with affection. look at her smile. whatever he is, she already chose him. so it's fine if he's a little (a lot) weird at times.

as much as she'd love to have another back and forth ("am not" "are too!") like they usually do, she raises her eyebrows when calling him weird results in him holding her tighter. or... ah. he's eccentric and insane but where is she?

[Oh, he's not truly offended, just slightly put out. (Mostly because he knows it's true.) It was just how fast she asserted it as fact... Isn't he a little normal? Sometimes??

...'kay, probably not. He'll get over it. Eventually. Just perhaps not the lingering worry. She may have to put up with him being extra clingy for a while.

And that clinginess only become more pronounced when she comforts him, then blatant as Stern and Serious intrudes on their moment. It earns a sigh from Yato; they need more seating in the house, for starters. And where are they all going to sleep?! The logistics of keeping them all around is already giving him a headache, resulting in him running a hand through his hair.

The other Yatos though seem pleased at being freed from timeout, cautiously approaching the pair as they file past to the living room and kitchen. A couple mutter to their original: "lucky", "jerk", earning them an irate glare. All afford Hiyori some attention, be it a quick brush over her hand, a gentle brush of hair from her face, to a smooch on the cheek by the gold-eyed one as he drapes his flower garland around her neck.]
