[It's hot. There's more to the day, yes, but it's hot. That's all Wanderer really cares about, especially since it's so hot his flying kitten is still asleep in his house and not perched on his hat.

Wanderer really, really hates the heat. He hates the cold too, but for some reason the heat is making him cranky. Why couldn't his creator have thought to put in a cooling system of some sort? No, he doesn't want to sweat, but it would be nice to be able to be cool in this gross heat!

He's sitting under a tree by the lake, trying to cool off and debating if he really wants to stick his feet in the lake. It's tempting.]

[Heizou's face brightens with delight.] He did that?! I suppose that certainly does sound like him!

But no, I suppose that's not quite the way you should return the volley. The way I see it... [He steps closer again, making those little adjustments to Wanderer's outfit with a little smirk.] Wearing something cute every now and then when you're around him will let him know you enjoy his attentions~

Unless- [Headtilt!] You don't even want him to know that?

Wanderer lets Heizou adjust the shirt, sulking a little.]

I don't enjoy the attention. I just...let him do whatever he's going to do, since he'll do it anyway and protesting is a waste of time and energy.

Mmhmm, and I suppose you allow it while wearing that petulant pout on your face? Does it make your cheeks feel a little hot when he gets into your space?

[Back in and into the outfit with the shorts and oversized sweater. When he comes out this time, he is vastly more comfortable and less cranky.]

When he comes out again, Heizou gives him a full appraisal, even going around him in a little circle.]

Mmm... Yes, you definitely prefer the simpler styles of clothing. [Not that that's a bad thing. Heizou still approves with a smile.] Comfortable? Not feeling too hot in it?

If I get hot, I can just take the sweater off. This is somehow lighter than my other outfit.

There was a plain shirt in the changing room when I got there. I assume someone left it, and it's a bit big on me, but it's comfortable.

Huh... [Heizou considers that for a second. This isn't stealing. And if it's a plain shirt with no real markers on it then the odds of it finding its way back to its original owner are slim to none. Assuming the owner even misses it. And it's not like there's any malicious intent here. So that's... fine, right?]

...Well, I suppose if no one's tried to come back and claim it, then it's fine.

[Heizou coughs. Clears his throat. And then he nods with a smile. Successfully recomposed! YOU SAW NOTHING, WANDERER.]

Right! I suppose that means we should go pay for everything. [So to speak.

He is gathering up that pile of clothes and hurrying back over to one of the employees! Time to barter and haggle over everything~]

[Wanderer hangs back to finish getting into his other clothes while Heizou haggles. He comes out of the changing room just in time to hear:]

--you two were so cute buying clothes on a date! That's more than enough compensation!

[And unfortunately for Wanderer... Heizou is happy to play right along~]

Oh my, are you sure~? You've been so kind to help us out with all of this! I honestly can't thank you enough!

[He does glance over in Wanderer's direction, giving him a playful wink. Is that a blush across his face, though? Nah, you must be imagining that.]

[Wanderer is not looking. Wanderer has tugged his hat down and is avoiding looking at anyone at all ever.]

[And before he can react or object, Heizou leans in and plants a little kiss on his cheek - just for show! - before grabbing the bag of clothes and heading out.]
