[It's hot. There's more to the day, yes, but it's hot. That's all Wanderer really cares about, especially since it's so hot his flying kitten is still asleep in his house and not perched on his hat.

Wanderer really, really hates the heat. He hates the cold too, but for some reason the heat is making him cranky. Why couldn't his creator have thought to put in a cooling system of some sort? No, he doesn't want to sweat, but it would be nice to be able to be cool in this gross heat!

He's sitting under a tree by the lake, trying to cool off and debating if he really wants to stick his feet in the lake. It's tempting.]

[Heizou chuckles softly.] Maybe not, but I'd like to change that if you'd let me~~

[And then Heizou steps a little closer, putting his hands on his hips and looking out at the view of the lake.]

Man alive, you're right! [Shock! Oh noez! He even gasps dramatically!] It's just as hot in the shade as it is under the sun! And with you still in your autumn best!

[Have you perhaps considered joining a theater troupe, Heizou? You're dramatic enough for it.]

I wear this regardless of the season. I'm not usually affected by temperature, even if I still hate the extremes, after all.

Oh? Are you sure that still applies here? Because it looks to me like you're wishing you could sweat right now!

Because it's how humans stay cool during the heat!

[It's gross, yes, but at least the system exists.]

Though in your case... I suppose we'll have to find you something lighter to wear. [His gaze becomes a little critical as he eyes all the layers Wanderer has on right now.]

[Wanderer just rolls his eyes and watches Heizou as he's...checked out? What is he doing?]

I'll survive.

[Wanderer, this is not being checked out. This is being critically examined.]

My intuition tells me that you really won't.

[Heizou finally lets out a little sigh, shaking his head to himself.]

Well, I'm not about to leave you here to suffer in this heat. So stand up and come with me, would you?

And why should I? What do I get out of giving into whatever strange whim you've settled on, hm?

[Heizou raises an eyebrow. It's very much a "bitch, really?" kind of look.]

If you come along with me, you'll gain the ability to walk outside on a hot day without fighting the desire to dive into the river.

[Ooh, you can be sassy. Wanderer approves, and gets to his feet.]

We'll see about that. I'll humor you for now.

[Heizou brightens immediately.]

Fantastic! No time like the present, so let's get going~

[He's definitely not going to give any warning before he takes Wanderer by the hand and starts quickly leading him toward where the best clothes stores are.]

[YANKING HIS HAND AWAY RUDE]

You're assuming I'll be grateful. Cocky, aren't we?

[FINE, don't hold his hand! But Heizou's making sure that Wanderer is indeed still following him and not... wandering off.

But he's smiling again. Don't worry about the glimmer of mischief in his eyes.]

I assume a lot of things! That's what I do~

[He gives Wanderer another once over, calculating the width of his shoulders and waist, the length of his torso and legs. Don't worry about that either.]

[How are you doing all of this while walking, sir?]

And how often does that work out for you?

That depends. Are you asking how it works out for me, or for the situation I end up being part of?

Well, that can be hard to say, really. I'd say it works out for me, but ultimately it's all a matter of perspective~

[Enough of that now, Heizou is pausing to peer into a store window, lips pursed in thought.]

Hmm. No, not quite your style. The next one, maybe...

[KEEP UP, WANDERER.]

My "style" is Inazuman. I'd consider Sumeran.

[NEXT WINDOW, WANDERER.]

[Heizou pauses to peek into the store, looks back over at Wanderer... then shakes his head again and moves to the next one.]

Unfortunately those particular fashion styles are a bit beyond this place's reach just yet, so we'll be improvising a little... Oh?

[Store number 3 looks promising! IN WE GO.]

[FOLLOWING without even looking because distracted]

Isn't this a dream town? Surely we can find something similar.

Maybe, but... [Heizou flashes Wanderer a little grin.] We're improvising~!

[And immediately he's chatting up one of the employees, asking them to help him find the right sizes for shirts and shorts and hats. Don't worry if you hear him refer to you as wardrobe impaired at some point, Wanderer, he's just painting a picture for this hapless employee. But they're moving around soon enough, pulling out articles of clothing and holding them up against Wanderer's chest to check the size, how the color looks against his skin and hair, and soon enough they have a nice little pile of lightweight outfits for Wanderer to try on. At which point Heizou turns back to his friend with a smile.]

Okay, time to try everything on!

[This isn't the usual way he earns his nickname, but this is definitely a cyclone of sorts!]

[He does hear that comment about being "wardrobe impaired", and he absolutely glares at Heizou the entire time this happens.]

None of that is going to go with my hat or a veil.

[And the hat stays on. Better find a stand-in.]

[He sees that glare. He doesnt mind it in the slightest. He ik fact just gives Wanderer a light pat on the shoulder the first time he sees it on his face.]

Your hat, hmm..? Let's see what we can do about that.

[He darts away for a second, asking the employee to make sure his friend doesn't run away... and then comes back with a black bucket hat with cat ears.]
